I've already sorted out most of the junk (sticks, logs, stone, swords, pics etc...) so this is mainly just the more valuable things. This is from about 30-40 arena fights. The downside is that Gold is actually flooding the market. Those who use gold nuggets to sell cheaper stuff are kinda suffering from this, because 9 nuggets ain't 1 Grass anymore, IMHO.
NEIN THE BEST THING I GOT WAS A BAG OF WHITE GOLD WHEN I WASS DEALING WITH THE CREEPERS THERE OH YEAH ONCE I AM UNBANNED IMA SEE THE WHITE GOLD FOR 999999 BUCKS A POP
Good thought. The Problem is to trade the fish back for grass. There is no real demand for fish. You can't even do that with fish in minecraft: Next time call me, mylady, I will protect you from the mob with my fish
OMG, those pictures...you're so awesome to have around. Couldn't find one of Unhygienix being kissed, poor guy...
I think someone won a Diamond once. Not sure, it was mijiperki I think. I was last man Standing several times but never had that privilege.
I don't think the price for gold nuggets will go down. /Ma J is a great way for players to earn a little extra income. It also takes time to gather that gold just by using /ma j alone. You also have to be a good fighter to last long enough to start earning the gold too. Skyshop at least will keep the prices as is.
Yeah I've got a diamond before because I teamed with an archer that killed the skellys while I just got the rest so we never lost health really
Team with me pleaaaaase So the rewards depend also on the amount of health you loose? Didn't notice that so far...
Rewards are pretty random, and better stuff the more levels you clear. Diamond at round 40, last level of /ma j.
WOW, never went over lvl 30 or so. Maybe a good team with 2x donor, 1x archer and 1x medic could do the trick.
You are misinformed. Gold nuggets are used all the time by different player shops. With gold nuggets, we can split something that is usually worth 64 items for 1 grass into smaller denominations. We keep the value set by /Warp trade. Since the villager offers 9 gold nuggets for 1 grass block, player shops can divide 1 stack into 8ths or 9ths or so. The real importance of gold nuggets is to work with tradeshops. The tradeshop plugin cannot sell more than 64 items at a time, but people want to sell items for cheaper than that price. So in order to sell, let's say, 2 stacks of something for 1 grass block, we value the 1 stack at 4 gold nuggets, about 1/2 a grass block. Take Drogo and Mingo39's stone shop for instance. They both sell 1 stack of smooth stone for 1 gold nugget. With this exchange, they both sell 9 stacks of smoothstone for 1 gold nugget. Finally, let us forget the fish idea to divide up the gold nuggets. No one wants fish. What is the point of dividing up 1/8th of 64 ( which by the way is 8)? Do you, for instance, really want to sell 1 wood log for 1 fish? I do not believe this is so. Summary: Let's keep trading gold at the usual price, 9 nuggets per 1 grass block. Gold looks nice and shiny. Gold helps keep prices for certain items cheap with tradeshops. Fish is not cool.
I wouldn't put it that way, also Myrm never contested the use of Gold as a fractional currency for grass. However you got one Point, Cyk. It is true that fish, since it is worth a fraction of grass, is eligible as a side currency, but there are two things it lacks. Even in a barter economy, for a good to serve as a currency, there must at least be a tacite Agreement or a tradition to use it and moreover, what make out ANY currency: the trust in it. Without trust, Money is nothing. There is (yet) neither trust in (stinky) fish as a currency nor has it ever been used at a scale that would have made it recognisable as such. Not many would agree to a "fishy" trade, although, dear Myrm, you are right, it would suit this purpose quite well. BACK TO TOPIC! Post your loot here!
