Your in-game name: CapsLock__ What timezone are you in? UTC+10:30 What country do you live in? Australia What languages do you speak? I speak fluent English and Spanish and I am learning Dutch Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) My computer has built in recording software and screenshots. i can use the recording by pressing windows key + alt + R Why do you think you should become a mod? I think I should become a Moderator because I am a good role model. i love to help people no matter what it is, and i have a big heart. i will not be afraid to do what is right, i have experience with moderating and administrating. ~Traits~ Helpful i have been showing players how to build cobblegens and how to get grass. i answer any questions any players have. if they don't understand the answer, ill put it in the simplest way possible. Non-Biased I don't hold grudges. for example, if someone has grieved my island in the past, then got unbanned, I wouldn't instantly ban them again. because they wouldn't deserve it. I would try to talk things through with them and hopefully we can be friends. Trustworthy I know what I have to do to be a Moderator, and I will not abuse my powers no matter what. I will do what's necessary no matter who it is If it's my best friend IRL, and they do something bad, I would do what I have to do. whether it would be to mute, to kick, or to ban. I wouldn't let them go and go on with my day. I don't give up I will end up solving a crime in the end, no matter what I have to go through. if I had to get all the resources to refund someone, I would. whether it would be diamonds, grass, or rares, I would refund. Patient I am very patient, if someone messages me saying they need help, then they don't respond, I won't sit there spamming them to reply. I will wait. Honest I don't lie. if I have done something bad, I will tell the truth. I wouldn't care what consequences it will lead to. I don't keep secrets from anybody. How long can you be active on the server every day? Weekdays: 3pm to 7pm Weekends: 11am to 4pm How long have you been playing Skyblock? I have been playing for about 6 to 7 months. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) i have never been banned on both forums and server. i have been muted in game though. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? yes, I have been a moderator on a small roleplay server, I helped other people to know what to do and what the theme of the roleplay was. i was an admin on a small minigame server, i helped the owner know what minigames to put in, and also helped build parts of the maps. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes/No yes i do.
You did not add a lot of detail, nor did you put in a lot of information that is needed. It would be nice to hear some more traits about you in full description, and make full paragraphs instead of narrow sentences. I see you can be a little rude to players in chat, and I also do not see you helping unless you help in message that is. Giving recourses doesn't really affect becoming moderator, giving player's resources is just being a friendly and helpful member to the community. Neutral.
thanks for the feedback! ill edit this post and ill try to improve more in-game. [EDIT] yes i do help in message.
support I'm fine with your app cuz I mean you answered the questions and there's not really a point to add all those traits and stuffz that basically EVeryonE freagin has and I should probably stop before I go into rant
Support Very nice application. I especially like the color scheme. You're quite active in game and on forums and from what I've seen quite helpful too. Good luck
Better than being over crowded like your moderator application. Too many words = very little enthusiasm to actually read what is written. People might look at it first glance and see masses of paragraphs. But upon further inspection I found a few spelling errors, and a lot of the time you rambled on. However, This moderator application is very precise and does not need masses of paragraphs just to get his point across. - Some people will disagree because they are butthurt, but who, apart from staff, actually spend the time to read every sentence? - Edit - Support.

I hear the caps lock button is like "cruise control" for being cool. Looking forward to going through your application, let's start with... ...a time zone failure. For the non-Australians in the audience this is UTC+10:30. Most of the world doesn't intuitively know Australia's special time zone considerations, sir. Don't feel bad: Americans tend to answer this question with gems like "MST" and "Texas". Size: 2,969,907 sq.mi. Population: 24,291,200 Anthem: "Advance Australia Fair" GDP: $1.223T Primary export: Spiders, snakes, terror. +1 for knowing more than one language. I am always jealous of that since I'm more aggressively monolingual than Koko the Gorilla. "Built in recording software" makes it sound like you're borrowing the prison laptop. What is it called? Do you know how to use the program...? This is an odd question to be dodging. WAIT! I was unprepared! We got here too fast, I swear this never happens to me normally. One moment while I get another drink, turn on the music and get the fog machine ready. OK, good to go now. My fault entirely, let's start over. I will be better this time around. Promise. •flushing noises• I am more disappointed than Hillary bouncing off the glass ceiling. What happened?? You were mailed an invitation to talk about yourself and returned a blank envelope instead-- this isn't just a missed opportunity, it is a crime against the concept of applying. This question is where you explain why you are the best pick for the job. I didn't think the template questions needed template answers but just in case: Put your traits and qualifications here, sir. This is where they go. Why are you giving word problems instead of a schedule? I understand what you mean to say here ("Before and after school") but please just list your primary play times. Translated: Weekdays: 3pm to 7pm Weekends: 11am to 4pm Shorten this to just "No. I have never been banned" and drop the rest. No need to bring it up. Accidental Whac-A-Mole from the console does not count; getting ban hammered for no reason is a rite of passage around here. Did you kill them? Not accusing, just curious. Go back through this and list what you did as a staff member. For example: • "I was the role-play staff member: I ran weekly sessions of 9-13 role players where I took them through events and mediated arguments." • "Minigame administrator: I designed games for 40-50 players to participate in, monitored results, resolved disputes and enforced fair play". This gives a lot more insight on what you're comfortable doing as a staff member and where your strengths lie. Do not disqualify yourself in your own application. The only possible answer here is a balls-out "Braveheart" scream of righteous affirmation. Mr. Lock if you can't commit on a "Yes" answer to a literal Yes-Or-No question then please take a walk. Come back when you've traveled the world, fought street gangs and learned martial arts from a clan of elite ninja masters. [✔] Does not understand templates. Why is this entire portion not in the correct section of the template, sir? Please copy and paste under the "Why do you think you should become a mod?" heading. If you're trying to be some sort of free-thinking rebel, that's fine. At least put something above here that says "Please see the end of the application". Moving on now. This is the perfect job description of a perpetually stoned high school janitor. Makes gravel, gives grass. Please explain why this is a good thing as a Moderator, sir. Are you going to use your new position to build every new player an island? Are you trying to be the staff member that gives free items and grass to everyone? Being helpful is nice, but you have not provided anything that shows you know how to apply that to a job. For example: "Helpful: I enjoy taking time to answer common questions new players have. I've demonstrated cobblegens to help people get started, explained the importance of grass and educated players on our community. This level of personal interaction is vital as a Moderator because it shows I have the patience to deal with even the smallest problems, which in turn gives people a tie to staying with our server." Glancing down below I can see you struggle a bit to name something good about yourself and explain why that makes you a good staff choice. Try thinking about it in reverse: Pick a Moderator you like and figure out what makes them appealing. See if you have the same traits, then list that on your application. Skimming through the rest of this... First: +1 for correct use of "grieved"! Second: The word is "Unbiased". Third: None of this is about bias. You are describing grudges and forgiveness. You are describing Integrity and you're not providing examples or why it matters to the job you are applying for. Please rethink this and add more detail. There are so many headings you could use here. "Steadfast" and "Resolute" would be a couple of positive words. "Unyielding" and "Uncompromising" would be more stern. This feels like you typed it out in between mutated Australian spider attacks; can you please spend more time...? Slow down with the checkbook, Batman. I am pretty sure going directly to refunds isn't an option in most cases. There is a huge side of the job that has nothing to do with items: Have you thought about applying your tenacity to removing several hundred "Like" abuses on the forums, or perhaps removing dozens of spambot threads for generic Viagra? Starting to think you might not be aware of responsibility you're asking for here, sir. Can you rephrase this to apply your determination to something besides giving out diamonds? Wonder how long this will take. Overall you seem very excited to be applying, Mr. Lock. You write fairly well and can get a point across... you just seem a little inexperienced about how to make yourself look like the best possible candidate for a job position. Applications aren't about you as a person, they are about how you personally would be good for that job. Go back over this when you have a moment and put things in the correct places on the template. Spend some more time explaining your qualities, why they make you a good pick and how picking you would benefit the server. Support Status: Chapter 1: "Call Me Ishmael" (Let me know if/when you make edits, sir. Thank you.)
I just saw you in chat telling someone to kill themselves because you thought they looted you. That wasn't the right way to handle it, and you continued to cuss at the guy in chat aterwards. I'm not sure you you'd be best, most mature representative of the server. Fix up your application, and I'll see if you change in the next few days. For now, no support, but that can be fixed. Good luck, my man.
