I pretty much have my next build planned out, but I want to see other people's creations with a budget of 1200 US dollars.
My build must have roughly costed € 1.000,-, which is a bit less than USD 1.200,-. Maybe it costed even less. Without screen and peripherials ofc. Oh forgot to say: If you have planned on building it within 6 months or so, wait for PCIe 4.0 and Coffee Lake (maybe even Cannonlake?). Hopefully, this will all come with a new MB Chipset that supports higher DMI Transfer rates.

I don't get how they place their priorities at Intel R&D. You could basically pump 100 or so GB/s into the chipset but this has all to go through the DMI bottleneck so RIP. Good thing the first PCIe is directly connected to the CPU. If I could I would rate my own post optimistic. Intel promises, you know... I have the crappiest Win10 tablet around and it still can run MC on low settings. How come you can't?
