Blaq's Censorship/Lack of Judgment

Would just like to clarify that this thread is about Blaq's censorship, lack of judgment in the Hoecobo case, and his abuse of power. This is not a staff report and I am 100% within my rights of posting this thread. You cant censor me, Im allowed to post whatever I want.

Blaq is entirely wrong in the case of Hoecobo and refuses to admit to it. The basis of his ban (which I understand he didnt do, but he does condone it 100%) is that he considering PMing moderators (Which is their purpose) appealing the decision to remove his rating, harassment. This is clear power abuse. He (or Krissy) essentially banned him because they were fed up with responding.

In the staff report, Blaq closed it (even though he has no power to do so) because he deemed rating posts gravedigging. Nowhere in the rules does it specify this and 2 smods disagreed with him. Blaq you are not an admin.

Lastly, Blaq would do anything in his power to censor opinions which he doesnt like. A perfect example is limiting the conversation of Joe's thread only to the discussion of 'does rating = gravedigging?' Even though the topic of Joe's ban and rating = gravedigging is closely alligned, he proceeded to delete my posts just because he didnt like them. Thats censorship, just because you are an smod doesnt mean you have the power to limit conversations to what you deem are 'on topic. Another example of his censorship is his verdict in the staff report (which we already went over.)


As a community, Id like to have a discussion about all fo these topics and anything else closely related.

 

This thread is a discussion that I wish to have. Its isnt toxic or irrelevent so please dont lock this.

 

Does it really matter? It's Minecraft drama, shouldn't be such a big deal imo.

Yes it matters. Its clear staff abuse and censorship of the players. If you think it doesnt matter and you have nothing to contribute, just leave.

Incorrect. You are not allowed to slander and make false accusations towards staff members in public. This falls under the category of disrespect. If you feel that you have a legitimate grievance with a way that a staff member handles things, then feel free to make a staff report on this.

"the basis of his ban"..."which ...he didn't do" This is an entirely contradictory statement. Either I did or did not ban Hoecobo. If you think I did, then prove it. Furthermore "he does condone it 100%" is hearsay, as you cannot know what someone else may or may not be thinking.

Again, incorrect. There is no rule says that only admins can handle staff reports? SMods often handle staff reports as you can clearly see in the archives thread. Especially with the number of superfluous staff reports these days, Cyp would be completely swamped. Only SMods should be handling staff reports though.
