Town of Salem is an online game inspired by the game 'Mafia' Based on your role, you have to try to kill certain people and leave others (probably teamates) alive so you can win. Everybody has a role and each role has some abilities and the like. Try it out here: Town of Salem If you make an account, you can add me, my name is Pvpbot.
I thought this post was about the town of Salem in Massachusetts where the novel "The Crucible" took place and where some mentally retarted pilgrims accused each other as the devil.
I like the game, but admittedly most of the time I am flaming on there, since they never do anything with reports its a way to spice up a boring game.
Okay, to be honest, something you think is 'retarded' is not in other people's eyes. You also have to keep in mind these people lived hundreds of years ago. Things were different. It was a legitimate fear then. They feared them like most people fear terrorists. You can mock them all you want, but people in the future will probably be doing the same thing to us about what our generation fears. Back to the topic, I do play the Steam version, if the PC and Steam versions work through the same system, I will add you late on tonight.
Your young age really shows when you demonstrate that you can't put yourself in the mindset of past people. What they believed at that time was very real to them and was mutually believed, not really limited to select few (who would be the retards, I doubt a whole town of them out of probability). I bet you'd also think people who worshiped Zues were retarded as nowadays its declared myths, but they are the same as current day Christians, Muslims, etc. That aside ToS is pretty fun, the flaming is one of my favorite aspects, as said already.
Ok first of all I am 17 years and thanks for the info. xD In my opinion they were retarted but yes you are right they were scared...
This is not a debate about the real town of salem, it's "Who plays town of salem, maybe wants to play together, and a discussion about the roles that need fixing."
