Surface Book cause it has Windows which is more easier to use and can be customized to your needs..Can work as a tablet or a laptop..OR both :D

    MacBook Pro- ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sucks

And I have to say it because it is true, Surface Book IS CHEAPER than MacBook Pro

As an Apple user, I wouldn't recommend any sort of Apple product. It's so hard to find programs that can be used for Apple, but honestly it has a nice aesthetic. I'd love a Microsoft laptop to be honest.

    Surface Book
    ...Windows > Apple.
Although I love iPhones over Windows Phones

When it comes to laptops, there are so many more broad choices than a Mac (Apple)

EDIT: Like luckynumber56 said above, depends what you are going to do.
If you are an artist and a digital painter like Kerahna below, then a Surface Book would suit you.
If you are looking for a more versatile and simple feel then a Macbook would be your choice.

I have a surface book and I love it! I use it for work and for drawing :) Sadly I murdered it with a cup of coffee so I've sent it in for repairs/replacement.

The build quality is not as nice as macbook however. It's heavy, it dents and scratches easily, and sometimes the top half doesn't perfectly communiciate with the bottom half which is annoying.

It really depends on the OS and your brand 'loyalty'.
These "laptops" (Surface book is more of a 2-in-1) are in the same price range, and will get what you want done.
Personally, I would never buy an Apple phone, let alone a laptop. They are overpriced, have horrible service (on the board level), and treat third party repairers as peasants.
Contrary to that, Windows is great. While there are more bugs and inconsistencies with Windows, IMO it's worth it, for better customization, access to more data, and just a more widely supported operating system.

Most of the time depending on what Surface Book or what MacBook Pro effects the price. I can get very cheap refurbished macs. Though Macs do not have touch screen as a SurfaceBook does, it most likely will have a better processor and/or storage as Macs are bigger. And Windows? Just make a VM. It is much easier to find Windows VMs than Mac VMs which are harder and more complex. And what do you mean by customized to your needs? Macs have just as many cosmetic customizations as a Surface Book might.

Agreed, it's so hard to find programs for Mac. One of the only reasons why I use a Mac is because I love the OS layout

As I said to Archer, especially on a Macbook, a VM could easily be created for the windows experience. And what makes Windows > Apple in your opinion? I'd agree with you about being a digital artist though.

Agree with all that you've said.
One of the reasons why I do like Macs is the OS

Though as I said above, not that many programs available for Macs but a VM could be downloaded easily and it would be harder for it to happen on a Surface Book.

Call me an apple fanboy one more time. lel.

But really IMO Macbook Pro would be better than a Surface Pro for the reasons I've said above.

Completely agree though I really am in love with the Mac OS. The price can be sometimes high though you can find cheap refurbished ones. Apple's virus protection is extraordinary and basically the only way you can pick up a virus is if you're downloading anything you can find.

Damn wasn't expecting to do that much

    how lol
new ones are always overpriced for the components they have
    lol.
Macs don't come with virus protection, you'd have to install Norton, or some alternative.
the reason you don't get viruses as easily on Macs is because there's less of them.
the target "audience" for Windows viruses is much larger than the one for Mac viruses.

I just experienced the best customer service ever from microsoft!
I bought my surface book (i5 128gb dgpu) in October, with no special warranties or anything. I killed the bottom half with a cup of coffee and sent it in to microsoft for repair. They provided a free overnight shipping label. 2 days later they sent back a shiny new surface book totally free, and with better specs than the original one I bought -- the 128gb was discontinued so they gave me a 256gb one instead.

You're probably just lucky then that the 128GB model was discontinued.

anything but either... ? like so many options for full fledged laptops.
and there are gaming laptops in that price area.

to answer though- surface book if i had to choose
looking at it... they overcharge(alot) for hdd space.. but try not to do 128gb...
i did that for what i have, and i had 3gb left after installing everything.

whatever you pick, windows os with >extended warranty< just in case.

Surface Book. I believe it's a laptop and tablet right?

Great device for animating, as I've heard. It also has better customization (cosmetic and like tech-related crap). Plus, MacBook just sucks in general, lOL.

I'm using an air right now and it works just fine for both gaming and forums. It can handle a lot of things at the same time, for example. Right now I'm using spootify, around 20 different google pages and minecraft, garageband, hotspot shield, avg, netflix (not looking tho), skype, steam plus a game running, mail, sidesync etc and I have no lag at all.

Can't tell which I hate more, apple fanboys, or people like you who constantly point them out just when an apple product is an option alone.
