Previous Avatars

The title kind of explains it, but I'm suggesting that we have an archive of our past profile pictures.

This could be useful in many ways. Here's two I can think of right now:
- Retrieving old avatars (if you don't have them on your current device)
- If someone is reported for their avatar, but then they change it before a mod check the report, the mods can still see the one being reported.

Here's what I think it could look like on the profile page:


Also, the profile owner should be able to control who is able to view them (but mods override it)

I like the idea of having to see our old profile pictures on forums, it is cool I really love watching my old pics but I think we can live without having it implemented.

 

Alright, but what if you changed your profile pic, then wanted to change it back but couldn't find the image?

 

Well, I guess keep your pics in your PC otherwise what you said may happen.

 

Switching pc's, deleted it, etc. many cases where you can make careless mistakes and lose it.

 

Still just make a backup on your computer.

I know many people that do, especially in the tech community, but is an 11 year old gonna back up their PC just to save a profile pic?
(It's not off topic as it's related to the suggestion )

 

I am 13 years old and I backup my PC. Just put a flash drive and boom you almost backed up your PC

I mean it is not only my pictures. It is my school project, coding and other stuff.
