But in my opinion, people use VPNs because it makes them feel more secure, I suppose. But it would be annoying to have to disable it every time you want to play.

I agree. Many people get banned on their main account and find a way to get around it. They might use a VPN and can access the skyblock server since it hides that person's IP so if a high staff member looks to see if they are bypassing their ban, then the person that is bypassing will get away with it since it is not the same IP as the one that got banned. Support, this can stop a few havoc's and can help keep the server a little more safe if someone keeps bypassing.

Like you said, I am not sure, but I do believe smods can check IP's. Since the other day I was having an issue and everything and a smod found out the IP.

Well, I don't moderate ORG, I moderate NET, and this suggestion is for NET.

Super mods on NET cannot see IPs. Yes, I double checked with a super mod, just for you

 

Well I would think they would need ip checking ability more on net. And Krissy just told me they used to have it on net.

Yeah, used to. I said they don't have it anymore. I knew they used to have it, I also knew it was replaced.

There really isn't a privacy issue about this.

 

I still feel that we should be allowed to use VPNs.
