    To stop alt havoc (1):
Deny connection to Skyblock if the user is using a VPN. The error message would kindly ask him to turn it off and try to re-connect.

    (1) Alt havoc refers to breaking rules while using an alternate account, which are obtained through purchasing another Minecraft account, websites that give away accounts or other. Please note: These websites are illegal, and several of them have been shut down by Mojang (failure to the shutdown would result in Mojang taking legal action)

    I support.
Just before people say it. I understand people use vpn's for a good reason, yes. And this idea has been thought of already. I think people might not like the idea if they were to need to connect without use of their "protection".

Alt havoc. But I find it very wierd that you just say "No." even if you do not properly read/understand something contained in the post. I advise you to ask before making decisions.

Mhm, protection. But the only person which could see their IP is (I believe) supermod and administrator. So either they don't trust them or they don't know that normal players cannot figure out your IP via. Skyblock

Lots of people go vpn only on the internet to be safe. You can't just deny people the right to play on the server because they want to be safe

People use vpn's to hide their real ip so their actually connection remains secure when someone traces them.
I think people could turn that off when playing a server and resume it after, but people dont seem to like doing that.
If you don't think this is an issue, higher staff have considered something along these lines before.

Not sure. I think they wanted a good execution of the idea to solve the problem that wont cause too much upset in the community; as is all ideas that are made.

Support. I think going further with this will probably do less harm than good, it eliminates the possibility of having spam attacks that just keep coming back even after moderators have banned the player or the IP.

You get no privacy from using a VPN on Skyblock.

The only scenarios that make me find this unappealing is if someone who casually uses a VPN for safety (or whatever reason) tries to log on to the server to find that they are not allowed. They could quite possibly think "oh, they're trying to gain access to my ip" if they're attempting to join for the first time.
Or, even the count of players who casually use a VPN decide to just stop playing because they don't feel like disabling it every singly time they want to play.

I don't personally find those reasons extravagant or dangerous enough to the point that makes this suggestion out of the question. So, I wouldn't mind this.
