Have you tried every single version of minecraft between 1.8 & 1.10.2

 

I've tried all the downloads from the Minecraft website for Mac. That's all.

 

Ok so I just tried to download mc again and it worked. I think it's cause I'm using my other grandparents router. My other grandparents live in the middle of nowhere and are old and have no wireless devices so they don't have a wireless router. My brother brought our router from Korea and plugged it in so we could have internet. I think it might be something with our router because we used it in Korea idk.

No. I still can't connect to any servers :l

 

Could you post a screenshot of the error screen

 

The servers won't ping. Also when I click on them they just time out. I tried to delete Skyblock and put in the Ip again but it won't load. I don't really see the point of a screen shot as you've probably seen a time out screen before ._.

Do you have the money to buy a new router (or maybe possibly exchange one)? If not maybe try playing around with various settings on it and changing stuff. This may be a bad idea since I don't know much about how stuff works in this general field of area

 

I don't think buying a new router would do anything. I have tried on a few different ones already.

 

Try asking around on other minecraft forums and such and see if they have any different solutions.

You should check your internet connection. Also, if this doesn't work try to change proxy to a more proper one.

 

I'm on a new router and now I can connect to the server. I don't really know why this router worked, as I have tried a few now. Can this thread be locked?
