What to do when you're the co-op leader (therefore also island owner) and want to transfer island ownership (I strongly advise you not to do this) to another co-op member? Strictly seen this shouldn't be possible as there is no direct command to execute in order to transfer ownership or leader status onto another player. But there is a bug, a workaround, that still allows you to do this. It works just like a normal invitation, so make sure your inventory has been emptied before attempting this. Make sure there are enough players (or two at least) in the co-op. The co-op owner simply invites himself into the already existing co-op by using /coop invite [playername] This will kick him from his current group/island and queue him into the next coop. In this case the same one. The plugin automatically picks a new owner from the existing co-op. Little disclaimer: I haven't tried this on a solo island yet. I would assume that you'd be invited onto your own island again, but don't take my word for it. I discovered this bug two years ago when I was messing around with a couple of friends who - soon after my little escapade into the unknown - decided to leave the server. So that's my island lost. Don't try this at home, kids. Allas, I'm not certain this can still be done, and I'm not to keen on trying it out. If this actually still works, it might become a way to sell complete islands and transfer whole ownership. A new era? ^^ Edit: This looked like a nice thread to address this issue on.
