Since the return of the king, I have noticed more and more individuals accusing others of cyber bullying. I would like to clear some of the controversial details regarding this topic as it may appear as a great opportunity to start endless wars between the members in the community in the future. First of all, cyber bullying doesn't have to do anything with an original real life bullying. Real life bullying involves getting physical injuries and psychological traumas, while cyberbullying cannot include any of those elements (because cyberbullying takes place in the Internet). Mentally healthy person would simply ignore all the threats and insults. Feeding the troll simply adds fuel to the fire. Secondly, cyberbullying is not something that is done randomly. Majority of cyberbullying victims admitted that they acted foolishly and said intolerable things. Despite the "liberty and democracy" in the Internet, moral norms still exist in every community. Those rules aren't official, however, they still exist during the interaction between members. Breaking those moral norms can increase your chances of getting cyberbullied. There are a few methods to prevent cyberbullying if you haven't done anything naughty yet: -Don't be a moron and don't tell unknown people your personal information (FB, Twitter, MySpace, etc.) -Don't be a moron and don't trust anyone. -Don't be a moron and be a good boy. However, if you have already violated the Ten Commandments, you still can save yourself: -Use VPN. -Quit the Internet. Example of an idiot: Idiot: "hehe guys, i realy think ZOG caused 911 hahahahahahahahahhah im so smart" Person 1: "You are an idiot" Person 2: "I'm going to murder you and feed your remains to my dogs" Person 3: "I'll make you eat sheet" Person 4: "I'll have sex with your mom" Idiot: "YOU ARE CYBER BULLYNG IM GUNA REPORT YOU TO THE CIBER POLEECE!!1!!11!!!!111!!!!111!!!1"
I think in general, just take everything with a grain of salt. Understand the situation. If you curse someone out and they curse in response, that's not cyberbullying. If you're being annoying and someone vocalizes it, that's not cyberbullying. Just be aware of what's going on and if you think there's no reason for the foul behavior, then just ignore it. It's not a big deal.
10/10. I would take the second person as funny tbh. The 4th is pretty. Uh. Ridiculous. Just avoid people and be antisocial.
