Psycho's mod application!

Before I start I want to say that I love this server and I've been playing for years and now I want to become part of the server.

Introduction: This server made me have a bigger passion for minecraft but more importantly, skyblock. This is a big opportunity for me and if I get it, I will thank every last one of you for the support. Also, thank you for taking the time to read this, it means a lot. Trust me you won't regret it.


In-Game Name: FearsomePsycho but most of my friends call me Psycho just for a short Nickname.


What Time Zone Are You In: EST. (Eastern Standard TimeZone)


What Language Do You Speak: I speak English and just a tiny bit of Spanish. (Si, no, buenos dias, buenos noches).


Have you ever been banned before (if yes, why): I was banned once for a day after I was scammed for a rare item and was starting to be rude to a mod because I didn't have the proof back in 2012. After I was unbanned I had apologized to them and they accepted my apology. My actions were not appropriate and it certainly won't ever happen again.


Why do you want to be a moderator: I want to help the server out to the best of my ability. I'm a greenie (preferred as no-rank). I try to help out as many people as I can even as a greenie and that's really hard because you don't have any of the advantages that moderators have.

I will be as fair as any other moderator is or should be. I will not give advantages to my friends and I will treat everybody the same way. Following the rules as a staff member is one of my top prioritys. Breaking the rules will easily result as a down-rank.


My advantages are my fast typing skills and attention to the chat. I'll be able to tell newcomers what is and what not illegal (example: Player- Is anybody selling lava? Me- &c players name- lava trade is not leagal but you can buy obsidian). People will be able to see my chat because I can color code making it to where players can easily see my messages.

I tend to be very calm in deep situations asking the victim what happened step-by-step. I'm very dedicated to the server and I've been playing since 2012. I take my work very seriously but when I am free I joke around if it's the time to. I'm a fast typer so players don't have to wait long before they get a response back from me.

I'm always available even if I'm in a bad mood or having a bad day, plus talking and helping the server out will easily cheer me up. I'm very active on the server making it to where there's at least one mod that's available through out the day.

I'm very kind, friendly, and approachable so don't be afraid to ask me any questions. Maturity definitely comes from me when getting my work done and following the rules. Also, I'm both very active on the fourms and the server so feel free to PM in which ever one works better for you.

I'm fair giving both punishments to friends and other players from doing things such as island farming, griefing/trolling, scamming, spamming, and bad language. I will give off warnings unless it's something like griefing or if they repeatedly keep doing it. Griefing leads up to a one day ban and doing it twice will result in 1 week or 1 moth ban. I won't give items back for free unless the player has proof. It's no good if you take a players items when they are the actual owners of the item.

My goals as a moderator are keeping everyone happy and satisfied. By doing this I will help everyone as best as I can but I will also follow the rules at the same time. If they have evidence I will get their things back and if I'm generous I may donate from my items. I don't want everyone to hate me because I'm not allowed to break the rules, they just have to understand that those are the rules.

We don't want our newcomers leaving the server the first day they started playing on the server. Let's say the player invited a different player to his/her island. Getting on the next day to see that all your island is in pieces, it's flowing with lava, and every item is gone is not a pleasant experience and that will make the new players never want to come to this server again. Moderators including me want to stop this from happening to increase the amount of players and a well smooth flowing server.

Kind/calm
If a player is frustrating me and they don't understand what I'm saying, then I'll keep clam and try to explain it in many different ways. Also, if I happen to be helping a new player I'll kindly welcome him and answer his/her questions.

Fast Typer
I'm a great typer and have had lots of training's/exercises. I will effectively answer to any questions that are asked.

Experienced
I believe I know ever single rule and have been playing this server for quite a while. I understand how plugins works and know some commands.

Unbiased
No matter what, I treat every player equally. No matter if they are my friend, any donor, skygod, greenie, and staff member making it easy for everyone to talk to anyone anytime.


How active can you be a day:
Monday 1-3 hours: Afternoon
Tuesday 1-3 hours: Afternoon
Wednesday 1-3 hours: Afternoon
Thursday 1-3 hours: Afternoon
Friday 2-5 hours: Afternoon/Night
Saturday 3-7 hours Morning/Afternoon/Night
Sunday 2-4 hours Morning/Afternoon/Evening


How active can you be on the fourms: I can get on the fourms quite a lot, and I'll be on and off. I'm going to try to stay on as much as possible for good reputation.


Do you have any past experience of being a moderator: I was a co-owner with my friend on a server until it got shut down because it was terribly greifed. But I did learn a few commands.

• Those are all the commands I know for now but I will learn the rest of them.

Look sorry about what I said in your old app I just think you should be more active in the community forums help in the 'help' section.

Don't keep deleting your apps because you don't like the responses. That just looks bad and lowers your chances of becoming a mod.

Well the way you respond to the people in your app is part of what shows how you would act as a mod. Ignoring replies you don't like and starting over constantly isn't showing what you need to. Just accept the feedback and move on. You don't have to change anything necessarily. It's just suggestions.

Honestly I think overall it's a good start, and you certainly seem to be taking the criticisms well... Might I suggest that you take the "Why do you think you should be a mod?" section and break it down into easier to read paragraphs, and elaborate more... For now I'm nuetral.
