Greenie means unexperienced. Calling someone experienced "unexperienced" is felt offensive. Is it that hard to understand?
No it doesn't mateeee. It is a legit reference from the maze runner series because people who are the newest in the glade are called "greenie" or "greenbean" for a month.
The movie still gave a new meaning to the term, which people may now find offensive. I believe your argument is now invalid.
Personally though, greenies make up like 70% of the server so it is going to be more common for people to dislike certain greenies. I for one, don't care and treat everyone the same. I also dislike many greenies though as I get bugged all the time with people asking me to god their items or sell them a spawner for one grass. Some are good some are bad as are some donors. Some donors are annoying af and some are awesome. I'm waffling on now but yeah...
I don't treat greenies bad, I have not seen disrespect towards greenies. Truly I don't care donor or not is on my island. I'm cooped with a greenie right now actually. But TBH coming from my stand point I mostly read donor messages partly because I'm friends with most but greenie chat is FILLED with ads and nonsense. Another reason is partially Donor prefs are more flashy and it attracts you to read them more often. No disrespect towards greenies btw. Love you all .
No it didnt lmfao On hellblock they were called chillies or something, donors are called blueberries on net, who even cares? Its a name, get over it
Donors dont make fun of green beans, maybe like someties but you almost never see some one getting "picked on" cause theyre not a donor lmao
The movie definitely gave a new meaning to the term. Before the movie, the term greenie meant someone who is an environmentalist.
You must be very Young to think that a 2009 Serie has invented the word (even any word at all). A very inexperienced person, one who is just learning how to do a new thing: | Dictionary of American Regional English Greenies Synonyms, Greenies Antonyms | Thesaurus.com The Black Gryphon - Mercedes Lackey, Larry Dixon - Google Books A Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English - Eric Partridge - Google Books I even read books of 19th century authors where "greenie" is used as "inexperienced", don't recall them though.
