My crops...

Hi,
I am trying to make a farm to breed my sheep and my crops keep breaking, I would like to start a banner shop and I cant get my seeds to grow, all they are doing is breaking... Is there someone that can help me... or is it a but on the server.

How high is the light level in the area where you are placing your crops? If light levels are too low crops can't grow.

 

Adrian_Monk_ BTW great name, I miss that show, and they cant grow, the seeds keep breaking randomly

 

That would be caused by one of two things. Either the crops are not close enough to a water source and the ground is not hydrated enough or the crops need more light.

 

That is what happens when there isn't enough light.

Crops can grow if there's no water. It's just slower.

 

From my experience, if theres no water near the tilled soil, the soil will turn back into dirt and knock off the planted seeds.. >~> But then again, its been a while since I tried.
