[Skywars] Spectate Mode

Support. This would be great to have. I like plan 2 the best, although both ideas are good.

 

Support, but isn't there something where if there's a spectator in front of a bow/snowball/egg/enderpearl that it'll stop right where the person is and not go ''through'' them (I assume spectators are invisible. Also that could be solved with having a specific area spectators are in it won't be much fun to watch from afar when you can see exactly where everyone is since you can't see everyone/thing if they're underground or something.

 

Spectators wouldn't be able to stop any snowballs from hitting a player. They would just go through them as if they were invisible.

 

But arrows

 

The spectator would not have an affect on them either. There's a nice plug-in I can pull up tomorrow with the details.

 

That would work, a few months back I watched someone in hunger games (in Minecraft) and they couldn't shoot a person because of them.

Support - I did some research into this and it seems like a great idea. I was playing skywars on some other servers to see if any server had this, and they did. And Peopleoni1 I tested the "arrow" or "snowball and egg" thing with my friend, and the items went right through me. The spectators are invisible to the players who are still in the game. The command to spectate would be like /spec on and to leave, it would be /spec off. If you want to know more about the plug-in I found, here is the link. (Tap here) Anyways, Support.

Thanks for testing that out! From past experience I've seen servers that have the problem and servers that don't, so I wasn't exactly sure what plug-in would work the best. Do you mind if I add this to the original post crediting it to you and Peopleoni1?
