Wait, can't they fix the hopper issue without doing a reset? Anyways, support. CypriotMerks cypriotmerkz Idk which one, so I'll tag both, one of them must be correct.
Hoppers are the number one reason why I even play minecraft. Without them, I would have no reason to play the game. I came back to the server, hoping that the issue would be fixed. I came back disappointed. Please fix it so that we can automate farms and build sorting systems.
I mean if people found a way to mass dupe if we brought them back, the server could be forced into a reset
I would love to see hoppers back, but I'd like to suggest a reason why "some people" are not in a hurry to bring them back. And that is : process lag. On my own island, I notice a serious increase in lag when I turn on my redstone machines, like my super-awesome stone generator. Customers at my TradeShop complain that the island is laggy, and the TradeShop chests make mistakes more often. Now imagine if everyone all across the server starts making redstone machines like cactus and pumpkin and skelly farms with auto-harvesting via hoppes ... imagine all the server ticks (read: processor time) that will require. I think hoppers are *never* coming back because the server has grown too large and couldn't handle the extra processor load. I think "some people" just don't want to say it out loud because that would call attention to the problem.
