If you or anyone has a trade area that "fully" supports chests and trade signs I would love to see it...

You have a great Island but dont see how trade chest/signs work, at least no the way that is suggested on the tutorial in the trade area. Will try to catch you on line sometime!

I have been on the server that had a really good system like that. It never glitched out the items or lagged. I support because it would be a lot easier.

It's sure a great thing to see that people are actually discussing the pros and cons of this suggestion instead of going on about another plugin that is obviously working so seamlessly and easily that we wouldn't appreciate an alternative.

Seriously though, do people just not read, or not care? I even bolded all of the most important things so that you don't have to read it all.

What we have is inefficient compared to what this plugin would achieve.

Obviously, from reading through this thread or simply playing in game, there is a great need for a simpler way to trade. The chest shops aren't cutting it.

Mods aren't always online or willing to watch trades so that is an unacceptable solution to this problem.


We are currently using 3 methods to solve one problem, and none of those methods are good enough. It would take time, effort, and a bunch of skill that I don't have to build this plugin. However, can anyone actually argue that the system would not be easier and more straight-forward than what we are currently doing?

 

I know how they work, but banner shops are kind of hard with this.

 

Just do the color of the banner as what they are buying and then put the banner you are selling above it

Tradeshops semi-solve the problem. Multiple trade plugins have been trialled in the past, but have been removed due to various glitches in the code.

 

I would support the idea because of all the scammers on the server, but, I think that this /tradeaccept concept would have to be tested many times by the server owners and developers, it would get very complicated if they had to put another plug-in into the server. As the server is called "Skyblock Survival" for a reason, they want to keep it as vanilla as possible. So, I'm sorry, but no support there.

 

I think the trade shops are doing just fine. I don't think we need another trade system, but I agree, lots of people are still getting scammed.

I hate scammers, I don't have much trouble with them since I record a video whenever I trade but I feel sorry for the people who do have problems with scammers. Guys, please don't scam.

 

Support, Ive had a plugin similar to this and it was great.

 

Specifically, you can't trade more than 1 stack size of an item. So you can't trade more than 1 saddle, 16 eggs etc

 

Yeah, I know, but it will be great if they allowed more than 1 stack like in the auctions in .org. Hopefully they can make that happen
