Im gonna keep this short bc i dont think anyone rlly cares aha.
so i joined as an anti social greenie, made like 2 friends, quit, came back, made more friends, quit, and rn im staying woo

Well I got banned by almost every member of the staff team if that counts for anything?

 

I first joined skyblock in the good ol days as I call it. We had 250 players and the server was fun. I always had fun and I made lots of friends. I learned from other players how to build better. I owned a total of about 15 islands in my time. From 2014 to 2017. I got briefed and all that. Eventually, the server became a big part of my life. Suddenly I realized I had a serious problem. A video game shouldn't take up a big part of my life. So I cut down on how often I played. Eventually it got boring, things didnt end up getting finished. I also noticed that the playerbase shrunk down to 60 players. All 50 of my original friends had all left. I finally decided to quit for multiple reasons. Thus my story on skyblock ended.

 

As concise as possible: I joined in May 2014, I left for a few months, I came back, I became a Tmod (Thanks, Krissy), I became a full mod, I got demoted for being mean to Cyp, I got repromoted to full mod, and after 6 months I resigned and quit (December 2015). I got donated for twice by Nova (donor100) and Stel (donor250). I stayed away for a year and a half, and now I'm back again.

 

When I joined in 2014 I was very unfamiliar with the logistics of the server. This was actually the first one I ever joined. But man, being a greenie was so much fun! I remember the excitement when someone would show up at my casino plaza, or compete in my skin competition, or jump on my parkour... man, those were the days. Unfortunately, my friends left, and several of the people I trusted griefed me due to me not knowing how to untrust. So, I quit. For a year, at least. When I came back, I completely started over, but this time my island had more redstone in it. I was able to make up to 40 grass before I was griefed again, and I gave up and donated the rest of my stuff to greenies. After that, I quit for 1 and a half years, until I decided to rejoin. I was so surprised at how much the server had changed! Before, there were only 6 Skygods... now, the whole server was overrun by them! I was amazed at why people would spend money on a game, but as I spent more time on the server I realized why. As I prepared to start building my third island, I decided I wanted it to be different. No fancy casinos, not skin comps, nothing. Instead, I gathered as much cobblestone as I could and started to terraform a complete Minecraft terrain from cobblestone, complete with a river, mountain, trees, and partially completed nether. After I finished, I became a Skygod in December. Since then, I've kinda left my island alone. At one point I actually did add a casino, but due to server restrictions the redstone was completely all over the place, whereas on a normal world it would be easy. I also wrote a nice tune to go with the island. Nowadays I plan to host GreenieCon sometime in June, and just look for fun games to play. I absolutely love terraforming, so when I started building the nether I really challenged myself because no one had done that before. I think it's turning it pretty good, and I also added a cobblestone nether fortress too it. It still needs 2 1/2 more sides, but soon it'll be done, if I stop neglecting it. Lol.

 

I joined Skyblock in September 2012. I was about 9.
I remember my brother and his friends were playing. I decided to step into this new world and join him.
I built my 'amazing' wooden house on his island. Our island had a giant wooden square in the middle and little paths leading off to all our houses. It was the best time of my life. I would get on everyday to play, I never talked in chat much as I didn't really see the point back then. Then my brother and his friends became 12 and started secondary school (I have no idea what grade this is for you Americans ). They quit Skyblock to play all the cool gun games (Which I despised and I still do). Because I loved Skyblock I didn't want to quit, yet it was pointless playing on my own. I invited my best friend Katy to join me. We had so much fun. We must have restarted our island 1000 times.
Im afraid I don't have any screenshots as my computer hard drive got corrupted so I lost everything - which I find quite sad as I love looking back on past islands etc. Our last island together was our best yet. It was around when god items became a MASSIVE hit. I remember a donor gave me 6 stacks of God Cobble. Players would line up to buy it from us. 1 grass - 1 cobble. Our island was quite nooby. We had what we called 'trade street' where (you guessed it) we had our of our trade shops. We had our Cobblestone shop, wool shop, glassshop and skin comp. I built a Gigantic pool with fountains and everything. Stel donated me 64 grass which I considered as a lot. I remember every word she said to me like I only happened yesterday. This was about the time I joined the forums. I didn't understand them at all ; it was all so confusing. My first thread was about creating ender chest trade shops. Don't ask lol.

Anyway lets continue. Year 5 came for me. Katy forgot her minecraft account login and couldn't change the password so she stopped playing.
I continued and decided to create a mall. I created it and katy's island (its still their so if you want to visit it do /visit lkjones) After a while I decided to re-built it at my own island as I couldn't trust anyone etc on her island. The only person who can probably remember what it looked like is me, a guy called philosopher13 and salty. Anyway, a while later I restarted again. This was when I became popular and got my lucky break. Christmas Drop Party. I recieved a christmas head and sold it for lots of diamonds. Then John said in chat 'can I use anyones island a second?' I said 'no' and he said thankyou Tim_B__B_. He came to my island and did a drop party of two heads. I won both of them! I was so rich (well quite rich).

I was loving life. I had my best friend Pugz which i'm sure all of you know. He helped me out so much. Gave me little tips to get richer or to make life easier, donated to me. He was the reason I played Skyblock.
I was also really friends with Mos (Mospah) he was trusted on my island and all my chests. He helped me out alot.
This was also when I made my first Skyblock Trailer. I bought a sponge. I died with it on me as /hat. I raged for ages. You may remember my threads on the forums. It was the worst part of my life. After a month I decided to restart my island for the 500000th time. Hopefully you will remember this island a bit more as it wasn't long ago.

I had this island for a while. John_Trollenski0 being the amazing person he is refunded my sponge. I was so happy. Thank you so much John. . Then I decided to coop with SkyVillage (Lordgutyt) We made my current island (a giant tree) and also our mall (/visit Skymal)

Well, that is my Skyblock story. I apologies its so long but I wanted to try and dig out every single thing that happened. Also it may have something to do with alot of things happened to me on skyblock.
I enjoyed creating this thread soooooo much Thankyou to Eggyolk2OO2 for making this. I love to look back on my past but I always remember:

i joined years and years ago with the ign PresidentCupcake and i was that greenie with the huge banner shop and i played with my irl friends and i knew no one here. then in 2016 queen bought me donor25 for my birthday so i was like "cool im popular now cause all donors are popular right" so i started talking in chat a bunch even though no one knew who i was, and i always typed in bright pink &d text
and i was that person who gets online and says hi but nobody would reply
and then i became friends with paris/pombie and i felt so cool that i had a friend!! and then idk i think i met father and geeky and a few other people and ive been making so many friends and aaaaaah
i got donor50 a few weeks later and then got donor100 a few weeks after that. after getting 100 i started making more friends and i met Nyxa and we started spamming chat together and yEah !!!

I played skywars w irl friends then i like got on sb like early midish 2013 lalalala then i moved and met weiSs then i showed her it and lalalala we played and made friends lalalala then i bought d25 then 50 then 100 allalalalalalala

 

I joined it 2013. I watched a lot of YouTube videos back then and I found the gamemode Skyblock. I go ahead and downloaded the map and I found myself struggling completing the challenges. So I searched on Google Skyblock Servers and I found this! When I joined the server it was full! However I kept reconnecting for around 5 minutes and I finnaly joined. When I pressed TAB button to see the players on the server I dropped from 150 FPS to 10 Real Quick.

Interesting thing is that when I joined I joined another players island. I had my Room in the Nether made out of stone bricks and I thought it looked really cool but it didn't. Me and my island coops always struggled with Monsters Spawning on our island, because we didn't use torches. You may ask yourself "Have Rolly ever bridged?" And the answer is Yes. I did bridge twice but then I thought it was legal since we saw like 100 bridges from island to island so I thought it was legal. Then I took a break from Minecraft.

In 2015 I came back and everything had changed. The island I lived in was abondes and So I built my first island with a SkyGod which helped me progress.. I usually joined a lot of skin competitions at /warp Skybase and I decided to create my own and so I did. The SkyGod's IGN is LubyLou88 ( If You see her tell her that Rolly still plays ). I progressed so much but after I purchased the rank Donor 50 I created a new island. You can still find my first island at /visit Mitachy6754

 

o yeah and i remember when i was a d50 or something i fake messaged and i got bANNED LIKE I WAS SO DISTRESSED I WAS LIKE "oh my god im a failure i hate myself im a disappointment" even though the ban was like 6 hOURS AHHAHAHAH lil me was so cute

In a short summary: I joined in the summer of 2013, played for a while before leaving, later came back to find my island griefed and left again. Made a return in summer 2015, applied and became tmod in February 2016, promoted to fmod on the 7th of September 2016 before resigning in January this year. This takes us to now.

 

Well... During December 25th, 2013 I got my first Minecraft membership card... The first thing I did was go onto multiplayer, I saw a server called "Skywars.com". I played Skywars A LOT. And after every 10-20 minutes a broadcast would come up in the chat and say "Feel free to join our Skyblock Server! - Skyblock.net." I finally got sick of reading the message and decided to join the server. After that, I was a poor, quiet Greenbean I was quite inactive and went back to Skywars on that day.. A few months later I met this nice person called "EstelleCollins" (Stel) who made me a Donor 10 - Donor 25 after a few months. I was not what you could call "Popular" But I did become VERY active. I built an island and so on.. And met a lot of people along the way. 2016, I met a player by the name of "QueenxAlex" (Queen) who kindly purchased me the "/fly" command in exchange for a Beacon, and some other items. Blah. blah, blah...

3-4 Years later, I am still here playing Skyblock. Very few people that I met during that time still play to this day.
And that has been my Skyblock experience.

My Skyblock Story

To start off I started skyblock story, I one day saw my brother playing skyblock with his friend. I sooo wanted to join but I didn't have an account so I couldn't join, it was sad for me and I begged my brother every single day if I could play. So one day like a month later my brother bought another account and named it "SwerbiesFriend" because my last name is Swerbensky. And my brother actually let me play on that profile. When I first joined skyblock somehow maybe the account got hacked and changed to "DarkMetal_IT". It didn't bother me and I went on to play. I joined around late 2015 - early 2016. I was a greenie and my island was all cobble. IT SUCKED. After a couple of months of me playing it I got Donor10, then I got Donor25 and stayed like that for so long. During that time, I made my first couple of friends Waterswimmer111 Waffle_Tart. They were great friends! We started our own club like for example a book club. We started it with my newer friend BlakeDBlaze. He was a cool guy. We all had fun together, and all got along. Then I got Donor50 and it was AWESOME!!! But after I got Donor50 they all didn't come on as much. And I became lonely. But later I found my new come friend MaddieTheMemer. She usually never got in trouble. And we had tons of fun!! Then if I am remembering right I met my new come bestie Nightcore_xx (Nicknamed Nighty). We had tons of fun. Then bla bla bla came and nothing really happened. So like a couple months passed and I actually got Donor100 and was cooped with Nighty. But then I left the coop and I broke Nighty's heart and I couldn't fix it. Then I became mopey and I didn't really talk. And my friends (MaddieTheMemer, GreyX, and someone else who I cant remember sorry bout that.) tried to calm me down but they couldn't. But, eventually I became less mopey. And then wayyyy later me and Nighty became great friends again! And not too long after that I met my newest bestie Eggyolk2OO2 through forums. And we talked and talked. I had a good life from then on. And I still am! That is it for my skyblock story thanks for reading!!
