What could the new server be?! Hey everyone! As some of you may know, /hub has a fifth server in the server list that says "Coming Soon": While wondering what this server could be, I gathered up different ideas that I think some of us may enjoy. I will lay all the ideas down and from those we can discuss which type of server we would have fun playing most, and what would best fit Skyblock as a whole. If you all have other ideas, feel free to let the rest of us know and I may add it onto this post. Idea #1 - Skygrid What is Skygrid? Skygrid is a Skyblock styled survival map that is quite challenging compared to the usual Skyblock that we are all familiar with. It's formed out of a grid of random environmental blocks, allowing for players to parkour all over the map in order to obtain items and blocks. How would this be implemented? (Optional) We could have griefing enabled, allowing for players to raid other bases. To avoid this, we could buy area protection blocks such as sponges with currency such as emeralds. Crates could be added containing special items and perks for users to get. Ranks from the current Survival Skyblock server will not be carried onto Skygrid. This server would have its own new ranks. There could be a PvP area for users to fight each other. Any and all sorts of hacks will not be allowed. That will take away from the challenging aspect of it. This server should be beta tested before its release. How could this appeal to Skyblockers? If players enjoy building and surviving in the sky but want a challenge, then SkyGrid provides the perfect environment to do so with the opportunity to raid and gather resources in an unconventional and strategic way. Idea #2 - Hellblock What is Hellblock? Hellblock is Skyblock based in the Nether. There are custom plugins to allow players to make special armour, there are glowstone trees and infinite lava as water is not allowed in the Nether. How would this be implemented? (Optional) Hellblock would have its own Nether themed mob arena. The currency of Hellblock could be Hellbucks ($). Crates and island expansions could make its debut. The server would have its own ranks and perks. A wither boss that randomly spawns in /spawn allowing for all players to come together as a team and fight it off. Users can gain xp or random drops through this. This server should be beta tested before its release. How could this appeal to Skyblockers? Hellblock is Skyblock in the Nether. For anyone who is interested in reliving the old Hellblock, or trying out Hellblock for the first time, or even trying out something new, this would be a good fit. Players who played Hellblock years ago would also appreciate its comeback. Idea #3 - Endblock What is Endblock? Endblock is Skyblock based in the End, similar to Hellblock with custom plugins. How would this be implemented? (Optional) Endblock would have its own End themed mob arena. The currency of Endblock could be Endbucks ($). Crates and island expansions could make its debut. The server would have its own ranks and perks. An Ender Dragon boss that randomly spawns in /spawn allowing for all players to come together as a team and fight it off. Users can gain xp or random drops through this. If players choose hardcore mode, an Ender Dragon could spawn at their island and cause damage to builds and/or the players themselves, however dying wont delete the island. This server should be beta tested before its release. How could this appeal to Skyblockers? Endblock is Skyblock in the End. Like Hellblock, it is a lot more challenging than the normal Skyblock that we all play. It provides a change of scenery and new opportunities to play an old classic like Skyblock. Idea #4 - Creative Skyblock What is Creative Skyblock? Creative Skyblock is the usual Skyblock in the sky, however all players will have creative enabled allowing for them to build whatever they would want using creative. How would this be implemented? (Optional) Everyone would have creative enabled. Island expansions can be bought in order for players to have a larger island for larger builds. Contests could be held so that players could build to the best of their abilities, and these contests could have certain themes, etc. and this will encourage players to build more and more. Ranks could have extra plots (more than 1 island) and higher ranks can have access to /vanish so that they can build in peace. This server should be beta tested before its release. How could this appeal to Skyblockers? Building on the current Skyblock servers is fun however it is not as easy as it seems. Many players are currently at a disadvantage because gathering items isn't simple. When it comes to Creative Skyblock, players will immediately have access to all blocks to be able to build. This will also appeal to players who enjoy building, and allow for players to test build certain things before building it on the more survival based servers. Having creative isn't something you normally see on Skyblock, so this would be something fresh to implement. Idea #5 - SkyPrison What is SkyPrison? SkyPrison is prison in the sky, revolving around a sky and Skyblock theme. How would this be implemented? (Optional) The currency will be Skybucks. We can have prison cells and sky jail for misbehaving players. We can have SkyPlots that would be Skyblock islands. Voting and crates can provide CloudTokens to allow for pickaxe upgrades. Different crate levels can provide different levels of picks. We can use grass blocks as a form of upgrading armour or tools. This server should be beta tested before its release. How could this appeal to Skyblockers? SkyPrison would essentially have the same idea as the normal Skyblock where you buy, sell, trade, etc. The only difference is that you use the prison system as your main method to make money by grinding in warps that you have access to by your rank. Ranking to the highest level is the main goal. Prison may seem like an odd choice for our network, but it provides a really new experience that some people may not get because they may have not experienced it elsewhere. ----- Don't forget to vote for your favourite idea on the poll! Thank you for creating this thread! I would love to see sky prison trialled or implemented as it is so far from the usual it probably could be popular and fun. All modes are really fun though. Creative would be my second choice.

I can somewhat agree with this, however the majority of Skyblock players don't really go onto Mineverse. Having our own prison and having it themed like the servers on Skyblock would make it a bit interesting.
Full anarchy skyblock would be cool. A better anti-cheat would be a must if the server was full on no hacks
I would love endblock so much, and skygrid too Maybe a factions style endblock or skygrid would work too
Thank you! I personally really like the idea of Skygrid as well since I've always had fun playing it in the past. I think it has a very close idea to what our own Skyblock is so adding it won't make it hard for players to figure out what to do. It's both challenging and fun, and playing with friends makes it even better.
I used to play skygrid on MV. It was super addictive. So yeah seeing ot make a come back at least for skyblock would be great. Or the skyprison one. I used to play prison a lot in 2k14 and it was great too
I would love to see a creative skyblock. I haven't played out some of the other skyblock plug ins on Mineverse so I can't say if I like them or not
I love Creative. It’d be fun to customize our own islands without any hesitation and anything stopping us!
