I’m just curious what are other skyblockers reasoning for playing skyblock I mainly just stick around because of the community built upon it the fact that the forums are there’s is really neat and when I’m bored irl I can just see what’s happening. The game it self is very repetitive in my opinion u make a island trade stuff make casinos and sell or create a new one and do it all over again. U get grass and u lose grass there’s not much point to it in my opinion but I am curious what your opinions are about skyblock why do u stick around why do you come back after not playing what is your reasoning for staying this long. I’d be happy to read your responses and maybe others can read each others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice to be honest I do t really have any friends that like to play skyblock but I have made and lost new ones. I’ve tried making map art by my self but it’s too boring without some one to do it with and my map art partner left because of school so that’s fun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The community 100%. Its so fun to make new friends, help greybeans, earn 5 grass, spend 5 grass, and repeat
I came here cause I have crippling depression jk lol I like it here tbh and I love the community and the people here so that's why I mostly play here
Im gonna be honest here. The servers itself has many issues and it does erode the confidence and support among many players, more particularly well experienced players like me. If it wasn't for the friends ive made (even though im kinda old lul) I wouldn't be playing as much. I basically get on to be with my friends as well as to flex on skytitans about my 3 DCs of grass I have as skygod haha
I play for several reasons. One, I have a lagtop so i'm usually restricted to 1.12.2 servers or below. Two, I hate mining out large spaces in a regular world to build my ridiculous monstrosity builds. Three, I love helping people. Whether its how to make money or who sells what. Four, I love messing around (massive fan of the curse of binding pumpkin on some poor souls head, dw I know how to remove it without them dying). Finally I also play for the people, I enjoy meeting different people and interacting with them (my discord friends list is mostly made up from people from this server). I have made so many friends here and I am still in contact with many of those
Nice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Nice I’ve also made some and probs lost em all lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Isn't it obvious? Skyblock wouldn't be the same at all with the community. Sure, friends come and go but that's all part of life. The community isn't the same as it was six or seven years ago to any stretch of the imagination, but as we welcome new arrivals, we gain the opportunity to make new friends.
Its got a more tight community. Unlike most servers with skyblock that have tons of other games, Skyblock.net focuses on one game. I like that because I get to meet people with the same interests.
Skyblock is one of the most boring game-modes I've ever come across. The initial survival phase gives a short thrill, but there's really no exciting end-game. My reason for playing lies entirely in the many friendships I've made and maintained in my 6 years here.
Honestly speaking, when classic died and the new server was created, I wasn't too big of a fan of the server because of how different it was from what I was used to. I still came on however because friends and staff here are nice people. Economy gave me a good reason to be active because I genuinely enjoy playing it and the community is very friendly. I started playing Skyblock back in the day because I thought the idea of the map itself was pretty genius, so playing it on a multiplayer server sounded great to me and my friends so we all started playing, however I was the only one that stayed and here I am.
I play for many reasons, Skyblock is such a comforting place for me to be as I have been around for quite some time, and it’s one of those things that you can never leave. Throughout my time within the community, I have built so many strong relationships with players that surround me whilst playing, and I truly love talking with them & playing with them! Skyblock also acts as a support system for me, if I’m feeling down the community always has my back, and skyblock acts as an escape from reality for me - somewhere I can come to build, chat and have fun
I joined in late 2015, and I cannot recall the specific reason on why I joined the server. It was back when my friend and I played Minecraft together after school, and I think I remembered this peaceful gamemode from some video I had watched on YouTube at the time. It seemed to be a good break from what we had been playing before. I only found this server because I had searched "Skyblock Servers" on google and this had the highest rank for Skyblock servers (the only server that was solely Skyblock). My friend unfortunately no longer plays, but we both had immediately gotten hooked to the server. I still have our old island with our Skin Comp and our banner shop. At one point I got my brother to join and save my old island so I could restart and make a new one (he ended up restarting the island). Why do I still play? The clearest reason is because I'm a moderator here. But I cannot say that I'm here only because I'm a moderator. I'm here because I love the server and the players on it (hence why I applied to be a moderator). I love the people I've met and been able to work alongside. I'm thankful for the server teaching me things I would have never learned and helping my maturity grow. I essentially grew up on Skyblock, due to my promotion being in early 2016 when I was only 10 years old. I'm 15 now, and owe so much to this server. I've seen and been a part of so many changes to the server and it's something I don't think I'll ever forget. Noobcrew if you see this alert, thank you for everything. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, and I'm beyond excited for what's to come. You created a place where I was able to grow and meet so many new people. I've made so many friendships on here that I hope to keep for years to come. I didn't expect to make this so personal, but I really love the server and am so thankful for the opportunities I have gotten.
I play Skyblock for many reasons. 1. Our community. I love the Economy Community. It’s really nice and fun to see lots of us playing together. Most of us share the same interests like the 1975. We all like to enjoy trading, casinos and we love fun islands. 2. All the things that are offered. Skyblock is just one of the best servers tbh. It’s fun and we like the special features we have. Opening voter crates and getting cobblestone is the best feeling. I have many reasons to enjoy this server but can’t express it all in words.
In minecraft the only server i play 95% of the time is skyblock, for me personally in 4 years that i play it feels like a completely different game, its a completely different server than the other skyblock servers, its gameplay, sell stuff for grass(money) i just like doing that, from young age i used to like getting money from selling my toys or etc, and i love that i canbcan my own town and shops so people can visit me, enjoy their stay and shop, i love this gameplay, 100% skyblock very fun.
Epic 10/10 community (not sarcastic) and the best skyblock server I know of! XD Interesting stuff and events too!
