Welcome to skyblock.net! This guide is designed for new players on Economy (/economy). Feel free to share this guide to others if you found it helpful! Let’s go through the major aspects of Economy and what it is. Let’s start off your journey! Once you’ve connected to economy by doing /economy in the main lobby, you will be in the spawn area. The spawn area is where most of the main amenities are. The spawn offers: /warp crates; this is where crate keys can be used. /warp islands; an overview on how every island looks like. /warp parkour; a tiny parkour for players who want to test their skills (no reward offered). /warp casino (a server built casino with tiny prizes) And there is a lot to see! The spawn structure is really pretty and another important thing you can find here is the Island Creator NPC. Here is how to create an island. Type /ni which stands for new island. You will have a bunch of island options to choose from. /warp islands has a demonstration on each island’s look. I prefer the standard Skyblock island but be sure to choose what you’d like! Be sure to note if you right click an island choice, you will be sent into Hardcore Mode. Hardcore Mode isn’t the best option if you plan to make a beautiful island. Once you die, your island resets. If you have a rank with /god or /fly, these permissions will be invalid. So, please be sure to know what you do. If you’ve typed /ni and chose your island, you’re ready to start your journey! Welcome to your island! You now can start by breaking your tree, making a cobble generator or find some ideas on what you wanna do! Here are some things you’ll find on your standard island (original Skyblock island): 77 dirt/grass blocks (both types combined) 3 sand blocks 1 oak tree 1 starter chest 1 bedrock block (original centre of your island) 3 sand blocks 1 bedrock block (original center of island) Starter chest? What’s that? A starter chest has components that can help you make a farm and feed yourself. Here is what you can find. 1 Lava Bucket 12 String 1 Bone 2 Ice Blocks 1 Mushroom (Red) 1 Sugar Cane 1 Cactus 1 Melon Slice 1 Mushroom (Grey) 1 Pumpkin Seed Helpful Tip: /warp cobblegen has a tutorial on how to make a cobblestone generator if you do not know. Reminder: Not all island have 77 dirt and grass, the Mini Skyblock only has a few. Be sure to keep your dirt safe as it cannot be traded. Grass is legal to trade though. This server (Economy) uses Skybucks which is the in-game currency. You can use this currency to buy most necessities! But.. how do I get money? Here’s how! /vote; voting every day rewards you with $500 and 1 voter crate key. You can vote up to 3 times maximum per day. This key can be used at /warp crates or traded/sold to another player for Skybucks. /daily; every day, you can type in this command and get $300. Chestshops; you can make a chestshop and sell items. I will be instructing you how to in the next section below. Auctioning; auction items on /ah which stands for auction house. There is a $50 listing fee so I suggest auctioning items worth more than $500 like grass blocks, sand or items with much more value. Creating a chestshop can be a tad complicated. /warp chestshop has a guide on how to make one but I’m going to give a more detailed guide. Part A: Here, you put your in-game name (IGN). Though, you can also leave this blank as the plug-in for chestshops detects who is making the sign and will automatically put in their IGN. Part B: Here is where you put the quantity. You will put how much of the item you’re selling. Supposed I am selling 64 cobblestone. I will put in 64. Part C: Here is where you put in the price. But, be sure to follow the following: If you are selling an item, the player will be buying it so put the character “B” in capital. B stands for Buy. If you are buying an item, the player will be selling the item to you so put the character “S” in capital. S stands for Sell. Part D: This is where you put the item’s ID. If you are unaware of it’s proper ID, please put a question mark (?). Then right click the sign whilst holding the item you are buying/selling and the item ID will appear. Fill your chest and you’ve created your chestshop. What is a lockette? Lockettes are a special sign that protect a chest from other users. This chest can only be accessed by you & 2 other people if their IGNs are on the 3rd and 4th line of the sign. But how do I make one? I got you! credits to Bdarkslayer for this image Part 1: On this line, you must type in [Private] to create the lockette. If you are only wanting you to access this chest, you can only do Part 1 and exit the sign. Your IGN will automatically appear. Part 2: If you would like to share this chest with other players, put in your IGN on the second line. Part 3/4: Put in optional player(s) IGNs on these 2 lines. Your lockette is now a success! Server Ranks are an optional perk obtainable by purchasing a rank on the Skyblock Shop online. To access the shop from Economy, type in /buy and proceed to Ranks -> Economy. You will get a list of 4 ranks. What are the 4 ranks though? Premium; pink name, lowest rank, $10 USD. VIP; orange name, more perks than Premium, $25 USD. Elite; light blue name, more perks than VIP, $50 USD. Highroller; yellow name, highest rank, all perks, $100 USD. For a full list of perks of each rank, please check out this thread created by Mai by clicking here. If you lose a sapling, type in /kit sapling. This kit requires no special perks and has a 45 minute cooldown. It rewards you with 2 oak saplings. If your lava turns into obsidian, right click it with a bucket to retrieve your lava. Dirt and buckets are illegal to trade because of the act of island farming. This act is illegal and both of these acts are punishable. Skyblock is a server that expects every single player to follow the rules and code of conduct. You should abide with these rules at all times as it is punishable if any are broken.
