Voter Crate Keys not working (Classic)

Just as titled, my voter crate keys don't award me any items. I can open the crate at /warp crates and I can see what is in the crate by crouching and clicking on it (it's like a tease). Am I doing it wrong? Others can use their keys and I can pass my keys to them and they work. Any tips? Would an admin check my account to make sure there are no conflicts/bugs? I'm available to meet in game.

I can use my voter keys 100% in /classic, but also I have see this issue happened to other players way too often. So if there is a way to fix this issue that would be great!

 

Yeah this happened to me too months ago but I forgot to report it. Hopefully this will get fixed soon

 

Maybe relog or restart your game meanwhile?

 

No that wouldn't work, I tried it once.

 

Make sure to crouch while you right click the crate key in your hand. Keys work perfectly on classic, but I hope devs can fix it soon!

 

I just tested out my crate keys and they work fine, you just have to remember to crouch (I'm not sure why).

 

I believe that there is some sort of bug that is preventing some users from using keys, while not affecting others at all. While helping this player on classic, there was another player having the same issue. Eventually, the crates started to work for one of the players, but Patrekurr could still not use the keys for some reason, even after re-logging, switching versions, making sure to crouch, and testing various other keys.

 

Recently yesterday I had to help 2 people with voter keys, for some reason I don't understand why I can use the key (crouch + use item/blocks) but they can't. So in the future if someone can maybe tweet the action to be a bit more simple then that would really help skyblockers.
