Hi! This suggestion will add an island setting to disable item dropping on one's island. This could be beneficial in a number of ways, and I would like to know what you think!
There is already a suggestion to disable egg throwing in island settings (Economy - Option to disable eggs on islands | Page 2 | Skyblock Forums) Neutral for the item dropping
I feel like adding item dropping toggle on/off has little if not no use right, but at the same time its convenient for the people who MIGHT have a use in it, plus new features and abilities for us to use is always a lovely idea so its a support from me
To clarify, this would prevent visitors from dropping items on your island, but not you. This prevents filling afkers inventories with useless items.
i'm thinking about using it to prevent trollers from flooding our Islands with a bunch of useless crud (kinda like how /PVP is made to prevent from us being killed with a couple of hits, presumably by trollers/griefers). Support!
Even in the current no drop areas like warp crates and spawn, items can be dropped. Won’t say how but it’s not hard. Drogo is sure others know how.
Support for this suggestion! I have had to build my AFK farms on economy in a way that people cannot fill my item with useless items that cannot be sold to shop* (e.g Wooden Swords) and then not being able to collect the farm products for days on end when I do not check their inventories/check if the farm products are being sold as usual! This also adds to the total amount of ground entities on economy and currently that number is consistently over 2000 (on economy). *having hopper mine-carts underneath where the player stands to collect items faster than a player can collect them.
