So I've been playing on this singleplayer skyblock world for a while. I started on 1.7.10 and have since upgraded to 1.14.4. I was starting a new build just a minute ago, but it required me to bridge out for a while. I stumbled upon the mainland. Is there any way I could expand the 'empty' area around my island without crashing my entire pc? Could I copy my island and the nether into a completely empty world? I'd really like to finish this build but it won't really be possible if the mainland is there.
I suggest you install world edit and fly to the mainland and use the wand ( //wand ) to remove most of the mainland ( There are easy word edit tutorials online ).
I already found a way, thanks. I used structure blocks to move the entire island to a void world. Took a little bit of work, and my nether is normal now, but I don't go there anyway, and now I have infinite space for a very very long time.
