This is a guide on how to play audio from your computer. Doing this must have your TeamSpeak muted to prevent echoing. This guide is for Windows Computers that have Realtek audio, and requires no plugins.

Lots of us want to be able to play music from our computer without a plugin that may lead to issues with TeamSpeak. There is a way to play audio directly using a thing called Stereo Mix. How do you do it? Use these steps.

    1. Right click your Speaker Symbol
To get Stereo Mix enabled, you need to get to recording devices, to do so, you right click your speaker symbol at the bottom right of your screen. Put your cursor over "Recording Devices", then click it. (My cursor is not showing for some reason).

    2. Open "Recording Devices"
To get to the sounds, open up the Recording Devices. Click the "Recording Devices", and you should get a window like this:

    3. Allow disabled devices to be shown
The next step is to right click anywhere and make it so disabled devices are shown. If it is not checked, check it and Stereo Mix. If it is checked and Stereo Mix is not there, then you do not have the capabilities to do it (I do have a computer with that issue.)

    4. Enabled Stereo Mix
Next, you need to enable Stereo Mix. It records all audio played on your computer, so you can play Youtube through TeamSpeak. Once you see it, right click it, and hit "Enable"

    5. Set Stereo Mix as your default device
This step is required in case you have more recording systems. If you do not already have it set, right click Stereo Mix and click "Set as Default Device".

    6. Set it up on TeamSpeak
The last and final step is set it up on TeamSpeak. To do this, go into Settings -> Options -> Capture, and select "Stero Mix", hit apply, and you are set to play audio! Remember, you can not use your microphone AND Stereo Mix at the same time.

Once you have done this, you are good to go. To prevent audio from TeamSpeak from echoing, mute your TeamSpeak, it plays all audio playing on your computer, so it would pick up teamspeak. You can go further to assign hotkeys that switch between them, but make sure they do not conflict with other programs (Ex: F3 on Minecraft).

(Optional) 7. Increase your Recording sensitivity
This is needed to make it so the majority of your audio is recorded. To do this, go back into your recording settings, and move the bar thing for sensitivity to the left.

Ok, this is mostly for the music channels. It is a lot higher quality than playing audio using speakers, but it is not 100% perfect after some tests I did on a second computer.
