Pig Spawner Chest Intro A new custom crafting recipe for a chest that produces pork using 8 pig spawners and 1 chest. By having this special chest, it eliminates the need for giant redstone monsters that lag the server. Concepts 1) The chest take up 8 spawner spaces on /limits, so each island is only able to have a max of 6 Pork Generator Chest with a 199x199 island. 2) Reduce the spawner limit to 4-8 so players are forced to use the Pork Generator Chest. By doing so, players would be able to make as many as they would like but the efficiency would be heavily reduced. - Con: may increase /bal exponentially. Contact My In-game name is Asivator. What do you mean by "the efficiency would be heavily reduced" and how would this "increase /bal exponentially"?
So basically say 8 spawners make $5,000 an hour. To combat the exponential growth of these chest, the efficiency of these chest could be reduced to produce say $2,000 an hour. Exponential growth can happens when people buy chest rapidly increasing their net profit every time.
If you combine 8 spawners into one spawner you would expect the output to be the same but it would take less redstone to grind? Its a nice idea for sure. However... My question is simply asking if this is a long term solution to lag? Should we work towards eliminating redstone machines by squashing afk grinding as the main source of money?
Although I never play economy, I for sure like this idea! Although I understand the main source of lag on both the .net and the .org server are the untouched islands.
Idk this makes the server feel like a modded server instead of a vanilla experience, would you have to be near the chests in order for it to produce pork or will it do it when your offline?
But if the chest is placed would it lose the 8 spawners? If it doesn't then Support, (Would this suggestion work for /skyblock aswell?)
completely eliminating grinders is a no go. Economy thrives off grinding and the people who spend money on it will most likely chargeback. Also its not combined into 1 spawner, its 1 chest that generates pork
