:') that is funny but it's just a thing that happens when you kill your tamed parrot and the skygod thing is just something about name tags it has your rank in front of there name you gave them so thats why it said when you killed the parrot it said [skygod] parrot was slayed by [skygod] heyitsred with your swords name

This. I despise this. Why does my rank have to show up on my pet's name? If I name my cat Cat I want Cat to show, not [SkyGod]Cat.
I don't know why it gives the pet their owner's prefix. My guess is that it might be due to the way I set up the tab list. I made each rank a team and assigned the team a prefix. I had to do it that way to make it work within the 16-character limit for prefixes and names in the tab list. I guess in-game pets are on the same team as their owners, so they also get the same prefix in any message that uses their display names. I thought about disabling the death message to remove any confusion, but it seemed to me that players would want to know if someone killed their pets as well as who did it.
