Skyblock Skyblock Update - June 24, 2018

• Chat fixes
  • Color chat has been restored as a donor-only perk for Skyknight and up
    • The permission to use color chat was not being checked correctly, allowing anyone to use it, this has been fixed
    • Non-donors can still use colored text for signs, books, etc, just not public chat
  • Added custom anti-spam measures to reduce the amount of spam, floods, and character spam players see
    • This should be invisible to most players, but for best results, avoid spammy behaviors, such as:
      • Repeating the same character too many times in a row
      • Posting messages back-to-back, give others a chance to chat before messaging again
      • Repeating the exact same message too soon
    • Please continue to report spam floods if they occur, so we can analyze them and see how to stop them from recurring
• Nether reset
  • The nether has been reset with a new random seed
    • It's been a couple of months since the last reset
    • This reset will give other users a chance to find undiscovered Nether fortresses

Well yea I know about that but the recent fake messages from non donor alts might be one of the main reasons. Sadlyl non donors can't use colors anymore to advertise their shops

 

I had no issue with non donors having colour chat. It helped them run shops and advertise better and give them a chance in the donor dominated space of shops[/QUOTE]
Yeah I find it sad that some of the non-donors can't make their advertisement stand out, but look on the bright side; no more people making chat blinding by using either too many colours or colours that don't go well together

That was a short period of time since I logged in for the first time. Can't believe it was a bug.

 

What's the time limit for the repeating the same messages? So I can update my bot? Leeeroieee

 

Sixty seconds should be just fine.
