Skyblock Updates - June 11th, 2020 Most of these changes are for our custom spigot to improve performance. Please report any bugs you may experience. An important fix included in all of this is a potential patch to our recent crashes we have been experiencing. Potentially fixed chunk overload server crashes. Added back piston sounds. Enabled colored descriptions for SbAds. Fixed language messages in SbAds regarding currency. Reverting the change that decreased the chance of water/lava being dispensed out of dispensers. This was originally to reduce machines that dispensed liquids quickly causing tons of unnecessary light updates. Greatly reduce i.o calls to session.lock. Disable running loot table for null players. Change order of execution for collisions (use cheaper checks first). Extra patches to numerous item duplication issues and teleport issues (all already fixed, but via plugin only). Custom world generator does less work now. Use a more friendlier NBT mapping method & faster NBT cloning method. Skip cramming check if it's not needed (back port of paper 1.14). Removed some player tracking code, useless stats sent to client. Use faster new exhaustion formula from 1.15. Disable armor stands from being given potion effects (why mojang). JIT inline performance boosts. Cache heavily reused function. Reduce material lookup collisions. Optimize world time updates. Disabled sending out packets for worlds no one is on (nether, at times). Optimize the captured TileEntity lookup. Better handling of some ItemMeta (aka stop the server from crashing with bad meta data).
Noobcrew when are you gonna fix the glitch with the book, when a player signs one and it crashes in your server?
I would assume that if they were added back, they will not be causing anymore lag. If there is currently an open thread about it in bug reports, we’ll take a look at it as soon as possible. However, I do not believe that it still works.
