    • Removed AI from certain mobs when spawned on player islands using spawners
      • Does not affect mobs that spawn naturally, animal breeding, or spawn eggs, the /spawnmob command, or spawners at warps such as /warp passive or /warp mob
      • Affected mobs: chicken, cow, sheep, pig, mooshroom, squid, snow golem, creeper, enderman, zombie, zombie pigman, skeleton, spider, cave spider, slime, magma cube, guardian
      • This should help reduce lag since the server will no longer have to handle pathfinding, combat, or other AI tasks for such mobs, which are often spawned in large numbers to collect their drops
    • Updated settings menu
      • Added descriptions to all island settings explaining what they do
      • Removed unused settings that were for features that ended up not being implemented
    • Added a new setting for trapdoors
      • Previously controlled by door island setting
      • Moved to a separate setting per player suggestions
      • Opening or closing trapdoors now requires trust or the trapdoor island setting to be enabled
    • Added island protections for daylight detectors
      • Toggling daylight detectors now requires trust or the redstone island setting to be enabled

    AI stands for artificial intelligence. It's the software that controls mobs. With AI disabled, mobs just stand still.

    We're working on it. It's a pretty major update, though, so it will take a lot of testing to make sure it doesn't break anything important.

    Just to set clear expectations, though, we're not actually upgrading the server to 1.13 at this time. We're just making it so that players with 1.13 clients can connect. We will still be running 1.12 and recommend using 1.12 for the best experience.

    I think it probably looks ridiculous to see mobs standing still xD
    Kinda sad it actually got to a point we can't even have moving mobs... thanks large grinder people for ruining mobs :)

    But in all seriousness, good work

    Sorry leee but please put ai back on for squids as they just sit still now they don't auto die

    Edit: to fix the current issue the way around it to have a redstone clock to empty water so squids to spawn and then pick up water so they Insta die which will cause even more server lag.

    Thanks so much for putting the daylight sensor thing in! Hopefully my computer is fixed doon and i can get back to building!
