Closed Skyblock Secret Santa 2022!

Hi everyone!
Since no one has begun a Secret Santa I figured I would take the opportunity to host one this year!

This Secret Santa is open to everyone! Rank or no rank, every member of Skyblock is welcome to join! Secret Santa will occur in-game on survival (/skyblock).​

How it works:​

Begin by signing up using the format listed below! On December 5th pairings will be randomly assigned and you will be messaged on discord or in-game using /mail with the username of the player you will be giving a Secret Santa gift to. Since this is a *Secret* Santa, please don’t tell anyone who your pairing is! You have the weeks leading up to Christmas to come up with your gift(s), and from Christmas Day to the end of the month you are responsible for distributing your gift to your partner. Each player will have a different partner to keep things truly random!

To reiterate, you will be messaged on discord or mailed in-game with your pairing’s name on December 5th. Again, please keep this a secret until gift giving time!

Please please only enter if you know you will have time to curate a thoughtful gift for your partner and be able to distribute it on time. If you sign up and later realize you don’t have time to make a gift, please let me know asap so your partner is not left without a present.

HELPER ELVES:
If a player is left without a partner, or if someone has to drop out last minute, players who opt to be a
'Helper Elf' will have the opportunity to help those without a Secret Santa. If you are interested in
assisting by providing an additional gift in case this occurs, please make a note in your sign up and I may call on you in case this happens. Thank you!​

GIFT-MAKING PERIOD: Dec 5-Dec 24

GIFT-GIVING PERIOD: Dec 25-Dec 31​

Some Gift Ideas:​

- Custom map art
- Heads (hunt heads, skeleton/zombie heads, drop party heads)
- Rare items (rare/legendary pots etc)
- Ores (diamonds, emeralds, iron blocks)
- Custom message in a book and quill
- Harder to obtain blocks such as Quartz
- Minecraft skin edit
- Skyblock gift card
- Renamed items etc

Be creative with it!​

I ask that you give a gift that has some value, please don’t give a bunch of random items which generally people do not need. Please be thoughtful when you create your gift(s) and even check this thread to see what your partner’s wish list is and see if you can fulfill any of it! This said, please don’t feel bad if you aren’t able to give the most expensive gift.

IMPORTANT!
After you sign up, please create a chest with a hopper on it at your island's spawn so your
Secret Santa can give you their gift! Please make it very visible if possible, thanks!
