Hello Skyblock. tl;dr - I allowed sb to build on my island and everything went as expected. buy my island. I got bored and made an experiment for Skyblock. Basically what I did was I enabled almost every setting on my island, allowing any player to build anything they would like. However, I have not enabled the setting to break blocks. I purposefully didn't enable that setting in order to encourage players to build without fear of their build being destroyed or griefed by others. This also encouraged players to use more expensive blocks, such as concrete, instead of plain cobblestone. Every day, I would log on to see the progress of my island, and to delete some inappropriate builds (such as pps). Otherwise the mods would be mad lol. Anyways, the results were as expected. There were 3 types of builders: The peaceful ones | Those, that actually tried to accomplish something by building a house, or something else that represents something (Not pps!) The unpeaceful ones | Those, that build pps and other stuff of that kind. The casual ones | Those, that didn't build anything that represented something. For example, lines or lava walls. If you participated in the challenge, you most likely fall into one of those three groups. If not, please comment which group you think you belong to. *4. The wicked ones. Those, that built all around the good builds to hide them from sight. Whats a statue if theres a 5 block thick wall all around it.
Reminds me of the guy who let his subscribers build on a server and see what people do and if they would follow rules that he stated. Got really chaotic
