I am trying to make a wool farm but can't seem to keep my sheep form stacking into 1 sheep and only dropping 1 sheep's wool. Anyone know how to fix this?
If I rename a stack of sheep it just turns into one sheep. Same thing goes for dye the stack of sheep. I think rename each individual sheep will work but that just seems like a pain.
What I did was: 1) Let 100x sheep spawn (white) 2) Use 100 dye to get it a certain color. They'll stack into 100x of whatever color you choose. 3) Nametag that stack of sheep ONE time. 4) All done. You can now shear the sheep over and over without having to re-name it.
It will appear as one sheep at first. Did you try shearing it? After nametagging it, it will look singular, but just shear it immediately after and it will go back to 99x or so sheep.
Huh, that’s weird. I haven’t tried to shear my sheep in a few weeks, so maybe they changed something? I’ll give it a try tonight.
It seems like it has something to do with the mob limiting system that they put in eco. Because my sheep spawner also is not spawning when this seems to happen.
