So, a lot of accusations of moderators being salty and biased lately. Who knows what that's all about. Let's discuss the differences between salty and biased. Salty - If a moderator is salty, they typically will not help you or assist you in any way. They have a very sour attitude and are just being completely rude. On the other hand, however, the player accusing the moderator of being salty is typically "salty"—if you will—by badmouthing the moderator, disagreeing with his or her actions, and being disrespectful. If the moderator is doing this to you, then you are completely free to call the moderator "salty." However, if you are the one being "salty," then I highly suggest that you refrain from doing so. Biased - Biased moderators are ones who have had a bad relationship with a certain player and, therefore, punish them more harshly than other players for the same offense. If you are a repeat offender and the moderator punishes you more severely gradually, THAT IS NOT CALLED BIAS. Because you have chosen to deliberately break the rules, you serve a higher punishment than another player who has done it once. YOUR PUNISHMENTS DO NOT RESET THEMSELVES DAILY! If a moderator is being biased on your appeal, then moderators must come to an agreement if "said moderator" is biased. This plan is highly unlikely to be biased because every moderator has different opinions. The player does not choose the moderator of their appeal; the original banning mod is the one to take over the appeal.
This is great. Some people say mods are salty for banning them, but they have just done the same thing repetitively.
Thank you. There is a subgroup of players who need to realize that crying "salt!" and "bias!!!" every other day does not gain them respect nor does it get mods demoted .... it just makes themselves look silly and unreliable!
You actually cannot work with kiddos and expect them to be all mature enough not to think every time they are punished someone else is responsible for it. But you can point it out, over and over again. (Hopefully this was correct English, don't want to be misunderstood on that lol) Your patience is astonishing, Lem (and mods in general).
Not sure if this was directed for me about salt, but I only way it jokingly. And I only did/do it to Noc xD Anyway, I'm on board with the "bias" thing. It is used way too much.
Yes! Exactly! That's why we mute me for the dumbest things, and let Stel repeatedly do it as a joke and not get punished! It's not biased because I break all the rules and Stel breaks none!
Because some people seriously need to learn the difference between "salty", biased, and simply doing your job.
