Closed Restore purchases

Dear Noobcrew. Drogo is hoping that we can have /pets restored.

Drogo is not referring t0 /pet, singular, but these guys here.


This was initially reported as a bug but it seems that they were removed intentionally and so is now a suggestion, although Drogo is not sure if ‘suggestion’ is the right term to use.

Drogo is sure that all others who purchased /pets would also love to see them returned.

Edit: Someone changed the Server noted in the title from Global to Classic. Drogo has changed it back to Global as this feature was carried over from Classic to the new Skyblock servers ( Survival and Economy) with all perks.
As can be seen in the Skyblock update thread linked below, /pets was certainly moved across.

In fact these pets were still available for purchase in the shop after the new server started and at the time the above announcement came out.

I am going to have to leave a support due to how fun these pets were back on classic and I would love to see them added back to give more a variety to each player. Some can also be added to the crates as additional rewards, and possibly can be a reward for a certain amount of votes.

Note: Although this is in the 'Suggestion' thread, please understand that these pets are purchased items, and while the Terms and Conditions of sales in the Skyblock shop state they may remove 'perks' (/fly, /enchant, anything that doesn't represent anything physical) from players, it makes no such claims with regards to items. As per the shops terms and conditions, the only change they may make to items is price.

Given this, Drogo, fully expects them to be restored.

Drogo knows people will come with opinions and views, saying, I think this and I think that, but terms and conditions are legal documents and deal only in facts and opinions play no part in regard to them.

Drogo also knows that some might claim that these pets were only for the Classic server, but as can be seen from the link to the Skyblock change log, in the original post, these pets were announced as being available for purchase and use on the Skyblock server.

Unless there was good reason, purchases should not be removed.

 

The pets were apparently never purchasable on economy and skyblock, only on classic. You should still have access to the pets on the server you purchased them on.

 

It was stated in the thread linked in the original post.

“We are looking into adding these pets to the shop in case anyone who doesn't have any pets would like to purchase any.”

The pets were available in shop after this comment was made in an update for the NEW server.

 

That apparently never happened based on what I've been told. All the commands were executed on the classic server.

 

These pets and bug fixes to the pet GUI were announced in update threads for the new Skyblock server.

 

It's possible that they got transferred over but they were never bought on those servers.

 

what you say is correct.
But they were advertised for sale on updates to those newer servers and no doubt those who purchased after reading those updates would have fully expected to have them for the life of that server.
Additionaly those who bought pets on classic would have done so with out the knowledge of its ultimate demise.

Not too sure why they got removed but will ask.

It was causing problems apparently so we had to remove it.

 

Seems a lot of us did.
If the problems can't be resolved and the purchases restored, then the right thing to do (and probably legally required) would be to provide a credit to the players who spent money on pets to the value of the pets.

 

The pets are still available on the classic server. As far as I can tell they weren't purchasable on the other servers and just got transferred over. Will have to close this thread.
