Minimum of 5 characters is FALSE!

Hello!
What does my title mean you ask? Well you should know that when posting a reply to a thread and your post count is too short, it’ll say that your post needs to have a minimum of 5 characters. But this happens to me a lot and it gets really annoying when THIS shows up on my screen:

Now OBVIOUSLY that post contains 8 TOTAL CHARACTERS WHICH IS 3 MORE THAN 5 (Omg he can do math?!)!
And yea yea I know you can bypass this by setting the color to black before typing anything and you can just put “I” and it’ll allow to post, but I want this to be fixed with posts that are OBVIOUSLY 5 characters or more.

It's always been an issue and a few players have reported it. You can just change the font type of ur characters and u wont have that issue. ANd support btw

 

Support. Doesn't make sense how 8 characters should be restricted when you need at least 5 characters to post.

 

I actually tried to post something that was more than 8 characters like maybe about 10 and it still came up the same error message.

I think it should just be fixed in discussion, help etc where posts are actually counted towards your number, but in off-topic and places where it doesn’t count, there shouldn’t be a limit on the amount of words. Support.

First of all, Support. I would really like to see this fixed.

Gamzee24 Southwark is trying to say that the character limit should be fixed, but in forums where posting doesn't increase your post count, like forum games, the character limit should be removed totally.
