    Skyblock [Marketplace] Updates - February 4th, 2026

Hey everyone, I have made tons of changes and fixes to our official Skyblock Map for Bedrock on the Minecraft Marketplace!

    Skyblock Marketplace:
    • In the previous update, I added the remaining three original versions of Skyblock, versions: 2.0, 1.1, and 1.0, whereas before it was only version 2.1. At the time, you could only play one version at once, meaning you had to reset your existing world if you wanted to switch versions.

This update completely changes that. You can now move freely between four separate worlds, one for each Skyblock version, with all progress and challenges saved independently.

When you first start, you'll choose which Skyblock version to play from the main menu, which displays all four variants.

      Once selected:

      1. Your world and island are generated.
      2. You're teleported directly to your Skyblock island.
      3. A Challenges item (represented by a piece of paper) appears in your inventory.
      4. From there, you can play Skyblock exactly as you normally would.

Clicking the Challenges icon opens a menu containing the original-style challenges for that version. As you play, challenges complete automatically as the requirements are met. Each completed challenge is celebrated with an on-screen message and some fireworks so you'll definitely be aware of them.

You can also shift right-click the Challenges icon to toggle it into a Skyblock island icon. This lets you teleport to the hub and return to your island whenever needed.

      Back at the Hub:

      1. You can reset your current island if you want a fresh start.
      2. Or you can create a brand-new world for any Skyblock version using the 'Version' menu.
      3. If selected, your existing island and its progress are saved exactly as you left them, and ready whenever you want to return.
      4. In total, you can maintain four separate Skyblock worlds and play or reset them individually at any time.

This is a major feature, and I haven't seen any other Minecraft Marketplace map implement anything like it. It essentially functions like a mini server built directly into the map and mimics basic management features that we utilize on our multiplayer servers (skyblock.net).

On most replicated Skyblock Marketplace worlds, if you lose materials, turn your lava into obsidian, or need to restart, your only option is to exit the world, re-create the template from the Minecraft menu and start over. This is standard on Minecraft Marketplace maps and that is a very annoying process, especially on Skyblock where frequent resets are common. On the newest update for Skyblock, you can do everything from within the game itself.

    • Added over 50+ pets and baby variants for you to choose freely at the hub. These pets will follow you back to your island and roam around with you. Some pets like wolves, and cats have extra settings like making them sit.

    • Added an "FAQ" npc at spawn that looks like me and gives a bunch of information and tips on how to play and use the new features.

    • Improved "Biome Maps". This was added a couple updates ago, where it displays the buildable area of your world and how it is split into over a dozen biomes. This means when traveling to certain coordinates, their chunks would be "Bamboo Jungle (for example) allowing biome specific features like pandas having the option to spawn. By having these biomes, it allows Skyblock to be more modern and functional on the latest Minecraft version, giving you the ability to naturally obtain everything from polar bears, to diamonds — based on vanilla world mechanics and npcs such as wandering traders. The Nether is also split into various biomes too!

    • Above the spawn, and up the ladder, there is a bot named "SkyBot" that will fix up your island world saves if issues may occur. Let's say your version is not loading correctly or did not reset, SkyBot will fix it for you. It can be used at any time, and if no issues exist, it will let you know that you are good to go. While this is not expected to be used, it is a precaution for those that may run into unknown bugs that I or the development team did not catch. I spent numerous hours personally testing this out and massively stress testing the load/save process, and I found that it works very well. Though, depending on the platform you play, new problems can always show up.

    • When completing a version and all of its challenges, you will receive a crown above your head. It's just a simple cosmetic, nothing extreme and for some random fun. The crown and its gems, will slightly change for every version of Skyblock and its challenges that you achieve, until the crown it is at its full design after full completion. (Keep in mind, completing challenges is simply a list, your world will not change once they are all complete)

    • Completing the spawn parkour now rewards you a golden Skyblock trophy. You can collect it whenever you want and proudly place it on your island. Again, just a fun cosmetic. The parkour and the hub itself mimics the one we use on the servers.

    • Added a simple cobble generator design at the hub for the novice players that may not be aware of how to create one.

    • Added 25+ new broadcast messages within the chat at the hub, similar to that of the servers, that constantly announce important details, tips, and more information. They go off every 20 seconds or so but they turn off completely when you return back to your island so you don't get that unwanted spam when playing.

    • More support for Minecraft Realms. It is unfortunately a buyable service within Minecraft, but it is the only option to play with friends on Minecraft Marketplace content (of course).

    • More than 50+ bugs, issues, and numerous problems fixed on older updates of the map.

Note: My goal with providing the original Skyblock worlds on the Minecraft Marketplace is to provide the best possible and official Skyblock experience. And while I can not provide Skyblock for free here, I have it listed at the lowest possible price ($0.99) in order to undercut the market made up of fraudulent companies that have copied Skyblock and whom are selling it for as high as $4.99 each. I appreciate Piki Studios once again for giving me the ability to do this, while the monopoly of companies that control most of the Minecraft Marketplace have only tried to shut me out.

Let me know if you encounter any bugs or issues, even the smallest of problems, even typos, as it will allow me to continue and grow this content even more!

I hope everyone enjoys the update, and if you do, please consider leaving a rating as it would help us rank higher in the algorithm and makes it easier for players who are truly looking for the original and official Skyblock worlds to find it. Thank you!

It’s really cool seeing how the Skyblock map has gone from “here’s a tree and good luck” to basically having its own operating system. Great job :D
