I wanted to suggest to enable the pick up of magma blocks and here's why: - They are cheap -> 200$ on eco due the crafting recipe - They don't have any other use than decoration| server is 1.12.2 so no elevators - Movement in the nether is hard Another option would be to turn off the spawn of the blocks. But thats not in the intention from the whole community. [EDIT] If they implent it, they should decrease the droprate. Please contribute to this discussion with your opinion to find an acceptable solution for all.
I think this would be a great idea, they are fairly cheap blocks of skyblock as well. And it isn’t often I need 200 blocks so being able to get them from the nether would be better.
Support, I'm not sure why they aren't breakable but unless there's no specific reason, I would want this! It's a fun block and it can be easy to obtain rather than crafting them from magma cream. It can be used for nether terraforming or mob grinders!
Agree 100% no clue why you can't also like you said they should make it where its a low chance! if they don't want people to be able to break magma they should find a way to remove them from the nether i hate mining and running into them and having to redirect my path
Support. I think the nether in general is a pain as to why I tend not to go. I spend an hour in there to leave with 5 quartz. It would be nice to have something else to obtain and not have to buy x 4 magma cream from shop. I also believe that the drop rate % should be mentioned. It’s such a pain knowing that all these resources are there to obtain but take absolutely forever. It puts me off going to the nether sometimes. I don’t mean a massive change but a change that is noticeable when on nether trips. I tend to travel with someone else in case I die so imagine the drop rate halved Thanks for the suggestion, I like it a lot
Meg, thx for your kind words. The nether is literally a pain to travel trough haha. The quartz droprate is another discussion worth but yes it would be nice to obtain more items from the world rather than buying everything from shop!
Oh yeah sorry! I totally forgot that they also kill mobs. As mentioned before, you could reduce the drop rate to avoid abusing the blocks.
Support! Even if they lower the drop rate, they're beneficial items, because they cause less lag compared to lava or fire when it comes to making mob farms. Bonus, they don't destroy the items. I get not wanting to abuse the system, but everyone on econ is practically billionaires anyway, so I really don't see the harm. But that's my opinion, anyway.
If they were made non-breakable to avoid use for specific negative reasons, they wouldn't be obtainable anyways but they are so don't see a reason why they can't be broken
