Hey everyone, recently Cyk, Frxn, Trin, and TheCobweb have helped me complete a quest... the Llama Quest! We traveled over 9000 blocks twice! We had to walk the whole way while watching to make sure the Llamas didn't disappear... It took about an hour per walk, so 2 hours of watching llamas and walking (not including the time it took to carve out the path and get them into the nether). But now the great Llama trail has been made! Feel free to use this trail while you can to get llamas! *side note* "Long live the Llama guild!"
Hehe, we made a path from my portal all the way to a portal we found close to warp animal (they had water on their island so we could safely land the llamas) so then we leaded the llamas, flew them to the island, and walked them to my island. Its about a hour long walk, and you do need others to help with this (yes, its a group effort). Someone must be on the other side of the portal or all the llamas despawn (we found this out the fun way...) and you need someone following behind you to make sure llamas don't disconnect from the herd or get loose from their leads. All you have to do is build up right below the roofs bedrock level and make a path to my path, since my path is 9000+ blocks long its not too hard. Just find the portal I used, go into it and follow the path, and start mining towards your islands portal (you also need someone on the end of your islands portal as well or else they despawn as well)
