What's up with the lack of Updates to the server. There is so many little things that can be fixed in a day yet there left unchanged for months. Most of these minor updates don't even need dev knowledge just a simple change, like adding an hour to the vote boardcast times. This server dosent need major updates (would be nice tho) just please fix all these little problems.
From what I've heard theres some big updates coming later this year according to crew. and Dexuby tryna his best so no hate plz xox
No hate, just wondering why little things are left unfixed for so long. And will see if we get the update this year.
The devs and other staff members are working on a lot of projects and can’t be expected to do everything that’s suggested or broken
I believe Dexuby is doing a great job of running the one-man band. He's really the only active dev I've seen online so while it may seem like it's been a while since there's been a big update I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and keep hopes high for updates later in the year.
Hopefully the resolve the issues with the current servers. This needs to be done before any new server. After all, that's what were all 'donating' to, the upkeep of the servers that we have purchased ranks/kits on. Drogo agrees. Dex has done some good work.
While I couldn't agree more with some of the awesome work from Dex, many may not be seen online, but may still be contributing. I'm not saying they do or don't but we can't make assumptions based on their in-game activity as they aren't moderation staff, but developers.
I was actually thinking about this yesterday - I think there's a frustrating lack of transparency on here in regards to what things are in the pipeline. And in fairness, I do get why that is - committing to certain changes will probably end up with dozens of people being like "WHY ISN'T IT DONE YET?!?!?!" or whatever. And also if you say "hey we're working on this" but it turns out to be not possible (for whatever reason) you just end up looking like a bunch of jerks. So I get it. BUT...it is a little frustrating as a player to see certain problems stack up, and not really "know" things are coming to address that, ya know?
Compared to the past, (3-4 years ago) the server had a lot less updates and now as i came back i find it more enjoyable to play it. We should be thankfull for the staff for their creativity
I do agree the past month there has been many good updates. A new Mc version would boost the server popularity and would make the game more fun.
thats true but take into consideration that skyblock needs extra mods inside and its hard to get everything set up for a newer version, for example the new blocks drop rates.. everything will have other prices for example if they bring in the nether update all the diamonds will be worhtless and they have to think about what they are doing. its not that simple
This is why they should stop doing quality of life updates and small insignificant changes and focus on a major version and content update. I think a lot of the player base would be okay with updates for awhile if a huge content update was actually coming.
