Kam, the applicant, writes very eloquently with a high level of sophistication. His wide use of the English language demonstrates a high literacy level, that of an exceptionally well read person who perhaps might be seen to read the likes of William Shakespeare, Truman Capote and Emily Bronte. After reading through this thread I can place beyond reasonable doubt my unwavering support and admiration for Kam, the applicant, who has spent countless hours online providing much needed moderation support to players in need, when no staff were available. Thank you Kam, your application has been a true pleasure to read.

 

Thank you for your unwavering support. I will continue to strive with an undying devotion to providing for the server and taking over where the current staff team lacks, that being a simple response to a common question. It brings me great anger to see a question being asked for two hours by multiple participants all to be ignored by a staff member who then gives me a warning for taking over where they were lacking. Anyways this isn't supposed to be a rant. I appreciate your admiration and respect for me. Thank you once again.

 

Kam would be great as staff. He always works hard to help people with their problems and prevent bad situations on the server. He can definitely be passionate about things but what better for an applicant than to be overly passionate about helping the server. Hope you get it.

I also want to address something that you mentioned, I am very passionate and I know sometimes my views and opinions can stir up a conversation the likes of which current staff try to silence however I do mean well and for anyone who thinks other wise I strongly encourage you to reach out to me here or privately via Discord. skaM#0995 My dm’s are always open and I have no problem discussing anything with anyone no matter what it pertains to.

Hello, and good afternoon! While it is not required I strongly encourage and recommend anyone who has given their opinion on my staff application via the poll to also leave a response by reply to the thread. I also encourage those who gave their decision many months ago who said they will come back and later reevaluate their decision to do so. Whether it positive or negative no one benefits from silence. Again, while this is not required I feel neither you nor me benefits from no feedback being received on this staff application. For example, if you deem it necessary that I need to work on something and then don't give feedback or criticism on what I need to improve on how does that benefit you or me. It doesn't. Anyways, just a friend reminder that anyone and everyone's opinion is welcome here.

While I previously thought DrskaM was a friendly person, my mind was slightly changed when he told another mod to “shut up” in global chat. Not only this, but he has harassed a friend of mine on discord with a voice snippet threatening to frame him for pedophilia. I find this incredibly distasteful and could never picture a mod doing as such. Seeking to destroy someone’s reputation over a false accusation is pretty low and is something that should be taken seriously.

These things aside, I appreciate him as a person and still see good qualities. We don’t talk a lot in chat as I mainly play economy and he exclusively plays /skyblock, but I have had conversations with him in the past that have gone well. I still have respect for DrskaM. I don’t think that he is qualified for a position on the staff team for aforementioned reasons but there is always room to improve and apologies can always be made.

 

I appreciate you leaving a reply on my staff application and giving your input. I would just like to clear up a few things here and also put a few things in context. You claim I told a moderator to "shut up" I didn't. I told a helper to "shut up" as did a few other players around this time. However, I was singled out and punished for it. If you don't believe me get the logs checked. You also claim that I'm trying to frame your friend for pedophilia. This is simply not the case I said he indirectly supports pedophiles cause he told me a 15 year old girl receiving unsolicited explicit pictures on Snapchat from an adult doesn't matter. I had a full 5 minute long recording of our conversation. It's fully in context and unedited. When I confronted [edited by moderator] about this he turned into a child and acted very immature. You claim destroying someone's reputation over a false accusation is pretty low and is something that should be taken seriously. However, here you are slandering my name. I have 100% definitive proof of what [edited by moderator] said and yet he continues to deny it. Even going as far as to threaten me, I have those DM's as well.

Now if you would like to come back at a later date when you've learned all the fact instead of instantly bashing my name I was greatly appreciate that. Nonetheless thank you for your feedback it's greatly appreciated.

 

It's pretty ironic that any feedback you don't like you instantly respond with anger and discontent. Definitely something that needs to be worked on! Good luck!

I'm sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately, no part of my response was meant to be taken in as angry or distasteful and honestly I can't see where you would've gotten that impression. As Ca1eb2k stated, "Fam he was just explaining the situation." Which is all I was trying to do. I understand you're going to stick up for your friend [edited by moderator] and it will turn into a he said she said type of thing but when I have evidence backing up my side I would think that would be a little more reputable that just a simple he said she said case. Anyways, I think it's incredibly disrespectful for you to try to turn my staff application into a an argument as many others have done in the past. This application is meant to be taken serious and not a place to whine and complain. There is a difference between giving constructive criticism and just complaining about a particular situation just cause you friend may happen to be in the wrong and you want to defend them. I would like to please ask you to keep that away from this thread and if you seriously have a problem with it I encourage you to make a report and we'll settle it that way but please don't reply on this thread with anymore hearsay.

This is not the place to accuse a player of pedophelia if you wish to report it there is a reports section.
