So I was going through some old stuff and thought I would share something I wrote back when I was 11. These days we know 11 year olds to have social media and be far too sexual for their age. I mean yeah I will admit I sound really immature and it was 10 years ago. At that age the first iPhone hadn't been announced yet. All but a few were single and most of us were pretty innocent. Story Time with Krissy: When I was 11 there was this program we used to have at our school where you would read books, do quizzes and you would have a log of what you read and your score. It was to improve your comprehension skills. There was also this punishment system similar to a time out/naughty corner deal. You would get a card, and depending on your "offense" you would be made to sit for 10-30 minutes and not play. Sometimes teachers would give you multiple cards so you had to keep going back. I got one of these cards from the teacher just because I didn't read enough books. In fact I read one less book and was absent. Still got punished. The other chick had the same problem but wasn't punished. Of course I got mad. Later on I noticed how she would get rewards for everything, compliments, comparisons made to her, and other special treatment. She was put up high on this pedestal when she didn't deserve it because her parents were rich. Not only that, I was bullied a lot and she saw it happen and did nothing to help so I just hated her so much and even though I still see her, I ignore her.
10 years ago... to sum elementary school up... I flipped over tables and threw pencils across the classroom. All the teachers would have to carry me out and lock me up in this small, empty room for 30 mins (probs longer). Everybody hated me back then #Autism
