Dear Fellow Skyblockers, We're pleased to announce the following new features: Donors Skyknight and up can now move their own island's bedrock anywhere from Y=0 to Y=255 using the new /movebedrock command. This allows donors to lower their default island spawn point, or get the bedrock out of way when building tall structures This command costs 2 grass per use and has a 60 second cooldown. (Donor400's are exempt from the cooldown as a unique perk.) There must be a stone block where you want to move the bedrock to. If successful, the positions of the stone and bedrock will be swapped There is a tab-complete function to autofill the Y coordinate of the stone block you're looking at, if the block is in a suitable location for the bedrock. While looking at a stone block directly above or below your bedrock, do /movebedrock ~<tab> and it will replace ~ with the Y coordinate of the stone block you're looking at Island owners can now use /sethome to change the spawn point for their island used for /home and /visit, including the direction players will be facing when they spawn on the island The island's spawn point can be anywhere in the buildable boundaries of the island. The nearest safe landing spot will be selected, both at the time /sethome is used, and when players use /home or /visit. If no safe landing spot is found, the island's default spawn point will be used instead. Island owners can use /resethome (or /clearhome) to revert to the island's default spawn point Since this command replaces the old Essentials /sethome command, Skytitans can still use /esethome or /changehome to set their personal /homes, separate from the spawn point of their island Added island spawn safety checks, both for custom and default spawn points If a spawn point isn't safe to use, the nearest safe landing spot will be chosen This should help players who would otherwise have spawned in lava because their spawn was griefed or because they unknowningly made their cobble generator with the lava on their spawn point If the island's spawn point is covered in lava and there's no other safe place to land, the lava will be turned into stone or obsidian as if water had been poured on it, and the player will land on the solid block Please see Server Update - October 7, 2018 | Skyblock Forums for full details. Happy Skyblocking!
