I'm trying to figure out how to spawn sheep of different colors with /spawnmob and I'm having trouble figuring it out. I saw something that leads me to believe this feature exists, but I can't find it now. Is this a thing? If so, what's the format? edit: also, sheep are spawning away from where i need them. how to i get them to spawn where i'm standing?
I believe it might be (feel free to correct me): /spawnmob <Sheep> (amount) (onplayer or loc) (playername or x,y,z) <color> <colorname> Give it a try and see if it works.
I think you have to do like /Spawnmob sheep:1-16 or what ever just mess around with the :and the numbers after it and it will change the colors
/mob sheep:<color> 2 <playername> Example: /mob sheep:light_blue 2 cyk753 Notes: 2 is the maximum number of animals you can spawn in with the command, so why not use 2 all the time. Adding the player name doesn't work on /skyblock to protect players from unwanted animal spamming. Should still work on /classic. Available colors: White, pink, red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, light_blue, blue, purple, magenta, brown, silver, gray, black. Bonus: type /mob sheep:random 2
Last i checked (10 days ago) the /mob command was still behaving like this (only spawning 1 sheep from the available natural colors). None of the tags like -baby, -saddle (for pig), -tamed (ocelots) or color (sheep) worked at all.
found this thread while searching for an asnwer to this question myself. doesnt work for me thought id put a comment here instead of starting a new thread
