Donor400, is it worth the money?

Hmm, first of all, lets compare Donor 400 and Skytitan rank!
Both can fly, be in god mode, have the same kit, do the same EVERYTHING...
And one is $150 more expensive???
150$ for a few extra spawners, /invsee, and an elytra that can only be gotten by having this rank? <— oh wait... you can get elytra in the store now... -_-. Lets get this straight. Kit spawner costs around $40 to buy at the moment, and an elytra is just over $10 at the moment. Meaning, that Donor400’s are paying $100 to get the /invsee command. NEVERMIND! Thats broken now as well! sounds like a great deal! $100 for ‘Donor’ in front of your name! Hmm, that sounds like a good deal! What do you think? I’ve spoken to many Donors about this issue and they all say it was not worth the money too. I can’t suggest to buff the rank, as it is against the rules.

 

you get every single kit with d400 on /classic at the time that was a big difference another big thing is it makes you stand out more in chat with the [Donor] tag

I can see why it would be useful in classic though I guess.

 

I didn't pay even 1$ for my d400 act someone gave it to me and even for my d250 account I only spent 25$ to get d50 and the rest I paid people to upgrade me. even if d400 was still available I would pay people to upgrade my d250 act to d400
I wouldn't even spend more then 50$ on this server

It’s a Donation. Players can buy ranks, kits expansions. They are all donations. The server has to make money some how.

I guess the point of Donor400 was to give players that wanted to support the server a lot a better premium. It’s a donation.

No matter the price there will always be those generous people that want to donate more.

Donor400 used to be worth it on classic, where it had every kit. Now its useless. They tried giving us /pet wither (which they removed) And the funny thing is there's nothing we can do about it. Originally they removed the creative item so the economy wouldn't be messed up at the release, but here we are where diamonds are worth 4 grass ;-;

We could argue for hours about how they've ruined donor400, but it means nothing and won't fix anything, as they shut down any suggestion on rank suggestions. There's no defending the donor400 nerf. It's disappointed that out of all the things they could have done they make the most expensive item on skyblock garbage. There's a plethora of things they could have done to the server to improve the overall experience, but instead they do this. But then again it is skyblock, right?

I think the counter argument is that it's our money, we'll spend it how we like. What we spend our money on is none of your business.

I'd say on classic it was worth it, maybe not anymore but most of us had the impression that it would remain as good as it used to be, as it turned out we were wrong.

 

Could have given us all kits again since the eco is already stable and few diamonds per day won’t break it lmao so yea it wasn’t even worth on classic the only thing that was cool weren’t the kits but the creative item

It was creative that’s why there were names like that and were defined by the different colors. Ranks aren’t donating they are perks that you purchase
