My in-game username: dondonblox Discord tag: dondonblox or lexithefemboy What time zone are you in? atlantic Can you speak any additional languages? I am fluent in English and french. Do I have the necessary means of capturing evidence? Yes, i have a replay mod wich i set to always record servers without me needing to start the recording How long can you be active on our platforms everyday? i could be on for 2 hrs on tuesday and thursday but on the weekend i can be on for 4-7 hrs and on forums i could be online anytime im in game. When did you first join Skyblock? i started playing roughly 2-2.5 years, i used to play on skyblock as my main then someone told me they would help me with my island in eco so i joined and now i play on eco most of the time. Have you ever been banned on any platform? i was banned twice once was a mistake on the mods side, i had bought /fly as a greenie and someone reported me and i got banned without them checking my puchased items. the other time was when i was muted without warning because i had femboy in my /nick and i was trying to ask for help using signs cause i could not speak and that got me banned and i am the one that was at fault on that one Do you have any past moderation experience? i have my own minecraft server but it doesent get many people joining so im not sure Why do you think you should become a staff member? i think i would make a great helper because i like helping people and i like to go around and give free cobble to newbies to help out with expanding. I primarily play on Economy but every once and a while i join skyblock.I do my best to help everyone to the best of my ability whenever someone is in need. and that is why i would make a good helper Do you meet the requirements for staff? yes 10 posts on the forums: Yes Two-factor authentication set up: Yes Minimum 1 month registered on the forums: Yes Own a Discord account: Yes
Hello! I will be honest, I dont know you at all, but I did the due diligence to check your discord account! You are not active in the discord at all, which is absolutely viable for the staff members. If you were active, you'd have atleast one role, which you don't... If I am mistaken about this, feel free to correct me. One more quick thing that I noticed; you are able to spend 4 hours in total weekly online. Im aware there are lives outside of Minecraft, but I feel like thats a little bare for a future staff member. Right now its no support. Goodluck though!
Dondon, while I appreciate you are a long-term member of Eco, in the past you have not shown the maturity necessary to be staff. Less than a week ago, you got muted and almost immediately chose to mute evade using signs, showing either a lack of knowledge of the rules or a lack of willingness to follow them. This is not behaviour I would look for in a staff member and I am no supporting at this time.
Your activity has not been consistent enough, and during a previous conversation, your responses did not reflect the level of maturity expected for this role. These are areas that would need improvement moving forward. That said, this feedback is not meant to be discouraging. With more consistent activity and growth in how you approach discussions and communicate your points, you have the potential to become a well-functioning staff member in the future. At this time, however, these concerns make it difficult to support the application.I encourage you to continue developing these areas and wish you the best of luck moving forward with your Application.
I agree with Kitty’s point here. A very recent punishment right before submitting a staff application doesn’t look great and can raise concerns about readiness for staff responsibilities. Additionally, I haven’t seen much activity from you on Discord, and I personally haven’t noticed you on Skyblock either though that could also be due to time zone differences or me simply missing you online. I don’t mean this in a negative way, just sharing my perspective.
Thank you for your feedback. I will try my best to improve my skills and be online more in the future.
Also in the recent mute I had been willing to comply and I did change my /Nick but the mute evasion was because I couldn't see the reply saying that furry was also not appropriate so I asked for help
I've been helping people around the server for the past few days by helping expand or giving them building blocks :3 if that did anything to help my chances please notify me. I will continue to help people around the server cause I like helping people get started :3
Giving stuff is a nice gesture, but as Helper you should also need to know basic server commands that could help new players (for example how to join our discord and forums, make a report on forums or discord, how to find the server rules or how to navigate through important commands like /settings or /sb etc) and basic minecraft stuff and recipes imo. When new players desperate want to know how to make a bed, I find its more beneficial if you explain how to craft one with the string and logs on your starter island, rather than to visit them and just dump all the stuff they ask for on their island. Yes its nice to give some bonemeal to make their trees grow, but I feel its way better if you can give them info on how to access public farms of server warps (like /warp passive for example) so players learn how and where to find resources and be way less dependent on begging and free handouts This is just my opinion what I feel a Helper should know, not just be an unlimited charity source =)
The inclusion of that point gave the impression that the motivation behind it may come across as more application-focused rather than entirely genuine, While helping and supporting other players is of course positive, the way it was presented felt more centred on personal contribution Its is important that actions are demonstrated in a way that reflects authentic intent Being a staff member extends beyond assisting players with building or in-game tasks. It requires a solid understanding of server commands, systems, and punishment procedures as well as awareness of what is and isn’t appropriate within the server.Without a clear understanding of the server’s rules and expectations, it becomes difficult to accurately assess and address the behaviour of others. I would encourage you to place greater focus on demonstrating your qualities through examples that reflect your overall approach, professionalism, and long-term commitment to contributing positively to the community. Just sharing a few thoughts that might help — not trying to argue or upset anyone, just an outside perspective. Wishing you the best of luck with your application!
