We want to ask everyone a quick question: would you like default ranks on Skyblock to return to a light green (&a) and default ranks on Economy to return to a light purple (&d) or would you rather keep default ranks at a light grey (&7)? I miss greenies. All I truly want tho is for brackets next to rank names to be WHITE! It being the same colour doesn't look nice to me, old way was better edit; both servers should have greenies
I think Defaults would appreciate some colour so they can stand out, the grey sometimes makes them look invisible (especially on Survival). Usually defaults are fine on Economy because our chat isn’t always full of advertisements so it’s not like we don’t notice everyone. But it’d be good for defaults to have colour names so they’d be happy in having a pretty colour and they can stand out a bit.
As much as I like greenies, it's been two years since the skyblock server was released, and I feel that if there was going to be a change, it should've been done a long time ago. It's strange to introduce that now rather than when the server was new.
To be honest I can agree with this. However I think that the gray colour that had been chosen really makes it hard to see player names. I never understood why it was changed and I think that even though it may be odd to change it back so suddenly, it would still have some benefits to it. I have the same opinion with rank colour changes overall. I personally am not very fond of the staff/donor rank colours. Having the brackets a similar colour as the rank itself makes donor ranks look extremely boring and unaesthetic. With staff ranks, they also looked a lot better with white brackets like how they were in 2015. The helper rank colour seems a bit too dark to me and I think it would be a cool idea to make it the same colour as what Trial Mods had, cyan. That looked really pretty, but with the white brackets of course.
Next to donor ranks, or staff ranks? I think having a small splash of color would really make some players feel happy. As much as we want players to donate to our servers, I feel like pushing them to donate to have a colored name is mean (though I bought Skytitan simply to choose colors for my name). I completely understand this and can agree with you on this. It may confuse others, but I also think that if people really want it, it's better to change it now than at an even later point. I don't know why it was changed either. I can only assume that it was changed for the new server as they wanted to make things as new as possible. I liked staff ranks with white brackets, but I also love how pretty they look with colored brackets. We also cannot use the color Trial Mods had as that is used for Staff Managers.

My issue is that if green came back for greenies, what happens with skyknight? Almost all of the colours have been taken so we'd basically need an entire rank revamp, which is just confusing imo.
True. Maybe make a complete revamp for the ranks colors if we were to change the greybeans to greenbeans again?
Possibly. Only issue would be if players get upset about the sudden change in rank, as it was "not the color they donated for." Some ranks would have to be changed if this was impleted though, so I'm not sure.
I miss the old greenies :'( One color that isn't used is gold. Skyknights could switch to &e (yellow) while SkyKings could switch to &6 (gold). This would have minimal impact on the overall color scheme, and I think would keep the most people happy. And for h*ck's sake make the brackets white
Making the brackets white would give us more color options, and I like the idea of making Skyknights yellow and Skykings orange/gold. this is about colors though ;c
