Disable Vote announcements

There should be a command or setting to disable if vote messages pop up. Especially with the high number of players on NET, there are lots of vote messages. If there were a command to remove those that would be great. Also, I noticed there was another thread about a similar command but for lottery messages, but none for vote messages, so I thought it should be made.

 

Support, with the introduction of a third voting link chat has become a little spammy with them recently. I see no harm in disabling other's vote messages, but keeping yours, and the announcement for a VoteParty.

 

It’s not annoying to me. But I guess it can be annoying for some others as it spams chat.

Yes, it would just be a personal setting so that you could keep them if you wanted.

I think that with the introduction of the 3rd vote link along with the many players active recently makes it spammy at times. I understand what you are saying, but it would still be a nice adition. Thank you for your input though.

 

Support. I don't mind it, but I can see how some players find it annoying. I don't see any harm in adding it if it is a personal setting.

I agree that it isn't necessary, but I feel like it would be a great addition to just clear a bit more of the chat when lots of people are on. I see your point though. I think that lottery is more disturbing, but there is already a suggestion for it so I thought it should be noted that this would be a good change as well. Thank you for the feedback

An optional on and off command would be perfectly reasonable. I don't think it's necessary, but I guess for some it would be nice to have? Neutral on this.

 

Yes. I'm sorry if I confused anyone, but it would be a totally optional setting. There is no reason for them to just stop vote messages all together. All I am saying is that it would be nice to switch off if you want to

 

Support. It really isn't necessary to display whenever someone votes. This would help clear chat a little bit, and hopefully reduce the amount of lag present on the server.

 

support, Its a good idea which could help mods to be able to see people asking for their help more clearly! and you could have it where it says if someone got a really good thing (eg- A dia, Spawner, ect.)

 

Support. What’s most likely to happen is that if you vote, it will hide other voting messages for the day.

Neutral. Maybe make a command for users to use to enable or disable vote announcements? Maybe the same for lottery if you arent interested or get annoyed from the spam its creating.
