Hello! Sometimes I think it's kind of annoying when people fly on my island. That's why I think you should be able to turn off flying in /settings. /jump is also disabled, so why wouldn't /fly be? It would also be pretty nice if we were able to turn on /jump in /settings. I'm not sure if this has been suggested yet. I mentioned this a while back in the server once but never made a post until now. I'm sorry if someone has already suggested this. Thank you for reading and have a nice day!
I have suggested an island setting to disable /fly before, it was declined though. But I'll support regardless.
The reason we can't implement this is that players would fall into the void if they were flying near your island and you suddenly disabled flying on your island, or if they were flying from one place to another and entered into the airspace of an island with flying disabled, they would fall into the void. Because the inconvenience you might have from having players be able to fly on your island is minor compared to falling into the void and losing whatever you're caring, this does not seem to be a setting that would improve the overall gameplay experience. Disabling /jump is a bit different because it can be safely disabled without potentially killing the player who was denied access to jump into your island.
Agree 100% with Lee. Plus people have dropped a lot of money for their high ranks. They should be able to fly on an island that isn't theirs in my opinion. Jump is disabled already if I remember correctly
Ooh okay, thank you for explaining. I know /jump is disabled, what I meant is that /jump could be an option in /settings. The title of the thread is a bit confusing, sorry about that.
For the aforementioned reasons I'm neutral on this. It might also be worth noting that /fly is a major donor perk, by disabling it on your island you're taking away items others have paid for.
Support for /jump settings, if you want players to /jump on your island for any reason, you don't have to /trust them No support for the fly because of what leeeroieee said
100% no support on disabling /fly. It's a perk that people have paid real money for and other people should not be able to control whether you are allowed to use that perk or not.
